These are the best chocolate chips for chocolate chip cookies! In use them with the Cook's Illustrated Perfect recipe. These chips are a bit more expensive but worth it for the quality once in a while!

I use mostly Ghirardelli chips for all of my baking needs and these are just not it. They taste amazing but do now hold up to baking the same way as the bittersweet or semi sweet chips do. These totally melt and do not retain any of their shape. I have taken to using them added into brownie batter and chocolate cake where and added boost of chocolate is nice. Terrible in chocolate chip cookies.

My kids and I baked very often or favorites is home made banana bread, we always add chips and have been using these dark chocolate ones. They taste amazing in banana bread but would work in literally anything that calls for chocolate chips. You could easily melt this down for holiday chocolate or a drizzle on top of cookies ice cream etc.

I always bake with ghiradelli chips but these exploded in my chocolate chip cookies and ruined cookie batter that took over 3 hours to make. Not sure what is wrong with these or if something was wrong with my bag but never again.
I only use Ghiradelli chocolate

They are perfect when you want to satisfy that sweet tooth but don't want a sugar rush or don't want to eat a whole chocolate bar! I caught myself putting them in everything! I put them in pancakes, waffles, Greek yogurt, popcorn, and even made cookies! They are rich and creamy chocolate chips with a rich cacao flavor without the bitterness. They are perfect for melting and dipping fruit as well!

These melted evenly into creamy deliciousness without any oily, waxy mess like I’ve experienced with some cheaper brands. Although this was a high percentage chocolate the flavor was great with no excessive bitterness. I’m really happy with everything about these chocolate chips and will be buying more in the future!
