Lalo Splat Baby PlayMat - Sage Wickerwork

Have been very happy with the Lalo products thus far however I noticed after wiping this mat with simply a wet paper towel (water only) the color came off the mat leaving dye on the towel…. makes me wonder why ???? The size is great but continues to “roll” up even though we’ve turned it over & over, even despite the thickness of the material

This is a good quality, necessary baby item. It doesn’t slide around. Stays put. Very nice feeling material that is easy to wipe clean. Folds or rolls easily to be stored away conveniently. I’m very happy with this item and glad i didn’t go for something cheaper.

Similar to other reviews, I’ve had this mat for over a year now and it STILL hasn’t laid flat and now has become a tripping hazard for my little one. I have tried everything from rolling it in the opposite direction to laying books on it in an attempt to flatten it. Nothing has worked, so it’s definitely a design flaw.

Excellent material, so easy to wipe down, a cure for spill headaches.

Way too small for under play table and chairs. . . . would be fine for under high chair. purchase as gift, w/table and chairs play set but unfortunately I will be returning.

I like this a lot, and only downside is the price vs other options online.

Lovely and super easy to clean. Really glad we got this to go under the highchair.

Tried several methods mentioned in the comments here but the mat won’t lay flat, curled edges all around. Only option is to turn it over to the solid color side that I don’t personally like, or tape it down. I already had solid side up for over a month hoping gravity would help. No go.

I had enjoyed other weaning items from Lalo and felt confident I would love this too, but it's a fail in my book. If it wasn't a hassle to return I would have. Although people seem to love the look, it's neither attractive nor practical (too small) and flying spoons and food fall outside of the mat all too often. Putting it away isn't the easiest either, you to have to roll it up and its awkard to store. Maybe this isn't a big deal for some users with more space. I'll also mention that the ends of the mat curl inwards because we roll it up to store - can't leave it out all day. On the bright side, it's easy to clean. Overall, it's fine if you don't mind an overpriced lacking aesthetic appeal splat mat.

The edges of the mat curl up incessantly, despite having placed the mat upside down for several days, placing heavy objects on the corners, etc. Makes for an unsightly trip hazard.

What a great mat! Not too thick not slippery. Great quality. Works great for when our grandson visits

This mat is great. It’s heavy duty, lays flat and easy to roll up. It’s also very easy to wipe up.

Love this splat mat. You need it less if you have a dog who will clean up the floor for you, but if you don't you need this!!

Huge mat should handle any coverage that might occur. The material is really good.

I was supposed at the size how big it is which was a bonus. My grandson actually loves it. They live in Arizona and he likes the lay on it as he says “it’s so cozy” lol! It will protect your carpets or your hardwood floors. A perfect addition to the Lalo Playset.

After multiple attempts to "counter-roll" and a couple weeks of letting it lie, the edges still curl up significantly creating trip hazards. We have not had this issue with other mats. Otherwise fine.

Color wipes off with a wet paper towel (no soap) - not good when I’m wiping it off several times a day after meals. Purchased to use on recently refinished hardwood floors and was afraid it would fade/discolor the floors so had to get rid of it after a week.

Similar to other 1 star reviews, my may refuses to flatten out after several weeks. I have even tried putting baby books on the corner and rolling it in reverse
