Want a dressier dress shirt? Start with better fiber. This No Iron Pinpoint is pure Supima® cotton — the top 3 percent of the U.S. cotton crop. This yarn has the same ultra-fine “80s” width as our previous shirt, but now, with fewer fiber “ends” thanks to Supima’s exceptional length, it’s smoother and stronger than ever. Along with the no-iron finish that keeps the shirt looking just-pressed all day, we build in additional features like moisture wicking, to increase your comfort on muggy days. The closest Supima shirt we find on the market today doesn’t have these features. But does cost nearly 50% more.Supima is conscientiously sourced, American-grown cotton that’s farmed to minimize environmental impact. The fibers are 50% longer than standard cotton, so yarns are stronger, softer, less prone to fraying or pilling, and hold color longer.

My husband is 6'8" and athletic build.....the tailored fit shirts don't run large enough for him and the traditional fit are HUGE! LOVE the floral patterns though!! We need more of those.....in sizes that fit! :-)
Disappointed

This and another shirt I just bought were too tight around the waist line. (I have not tries the other two.) I have bought many similar shirts in the past (same size and material) and this was not an issue with any of them. It is disappointing as it prompts me to buy elsewhere.
Fix the fit

I think these shirts are great quality. The issue is the fit. They are too puffy. I haven't been able to get new shirts from Lands End since the removal of slim fit, so now I look elsewhere. Slim fit needs to return to all the long sleeve options. The traditional fit is a baggy fit and the tailored fit is a loose fit. Slim fit wasn't very slim. It was a clean, tailored look that doesn't go out of style. "I don't wanna be a pirate".

This was cut slimmer than the twill shirts of the same size and fit. They were too slim to fit me.

The shirt fit my son in the torso, but the tail was so long it was ridiculous. So sorry that was so, the fabric was nice.
No Longer Have Size "18/34 in Men's REGULAR Shirts

Not only are the color choices are horrible this year, my husband wears an 18/34 shirt and used to be able to get that in the Regular length shirts. NO MORE, they are no longer available. He has to get Big & Tall, and the Tall is much too long. We've bought his shirts for LE for 30+ years and , now, availability is a problem.
My go-to shirts, especially for traveling

These No Iron Supima shirts are just great. They're good for anything from casual to dressy wear, but best of all, they really are wrinkle free. They're my go-to travel shirts because I can wash them in a hotel sink, wring them out, hang them up overnight, and the next morning they're dry and look freshly ironed, even after multiple washings. No kidding. I've actually had fellow-travelers ask me how I keep them so neat looking. My secret is Land's End.
Good shirt but a bit smaller than expected.

Shirts are good but are smaller than competitors. I would go one size larger for Lands End shirts.

Needs slightly longer collar points for 5 stars

Great shirt, high-quality construction, and fits me well (6'4" who wears size LT). Looks like a more expensive shirt than it is. A minor complaint is that the collar points are too small for a button-down shirt, enough so that the collar looks out-of-proportion for the shirt. That's what keeps me from giving it five stars.
What happened?

I have been buying LE clothing since the 80s and have always known that there is some variation in sizing between styles and versions of essentially the same thing. This last Pinpoint button down however was sized for a toddler. An exaggeration, but I seriously could not get it onto my body and button it without exhaling and the cuffs were so tight there was no room for a watch. There was hardly room for my wrist. This had to be some sort of mistake due to it being so far off from sizing that it was absurd. The material was board like stiff as well. I don't know what happened, but I sent it back and was refunded promptly.

My husband is tall (6-ft-5) but not heavy. Many shirts for tall men are baggy. That is why we rely on Land’s End for quality, stylish shirts for the tall man in our family. He knows he can count on great LE shirts for Father’s Day and Christmas! He especially likes the button-down collar pinpoint oxfords. He probably has one in every color and a few checked versions, too!
Great fit.

I am always impressed with Land's End shirts and this one is no exception. The fit is great, the quality is good, and the no-iron feature lives up to its name.
