Lands' End School Uniform Kids Short Sleeve Interlock Polo Shirt

Ive ordered several shirts for my kids uniform from lands end and by far the interlock polo shrinks up terrrible. I mean about 2 inches worth. I've done everything form using cold water, low heat and even no heat but it does that terrible shrinking where it goes up not in and it turns into a crop top. TRASH

This shirt shrunk terribly after the first wash. I've owned other interlock polos from Lands' End over the years and loved them. But this uniform shirt for my son was very disappointing. It will be too short for him to wear soon, and I had sized up to try to have it last all school year. Great, soft fabric and good construction. It should have lasted longer.

The shirt just keeps on getting shorter and shorter for my 12 almost 13 yr old son. We bought size XL for 12-14. Maybe we should have bought XXL. which seems a bit funny …

If I could give this a zero I would, the polos shrunk and they for my son like a crop top this isn’t right

I am very disappointed in this shirt. They are priced very high, (I luckily got them at a discount for my first order,) for just the basic, and the next level up is ridiculously high. You will need to iron these after washing, because the collar will be deformed and not hold it's shape. I bought 6 total shirts in 2 sizes, and the all have this problem. They also don't get clean in the wash and to stain easily. I have been buying shirts for this school for over 10 years, having 4 children going there, and these are undoubtedly the worst so far. I will not buy them again from here, and won't pay the very high price for the upgraded shirt.

The fabric on this is nice, but unfortunately the shirt does not hold it's shape, or maybe it was just weird to begin with. The shirt was plenty big enough when first trying on, but after washing a time or two it is now too short. So now it is wide and short and looks sloppy. I would not go up a size to account for the length because then it would just be too big overall.

I don’t understand why these shirts keep getting holes. The material is soft but doesn’t feel overly thin, and yet my son has worn these shirts two or three times now (I bought more than one shirt) and every one has developed multiple little pin holes. The first one/time I thought it was his fault, but there are too many now in every shirt. And this has never happened to any other shirt he has ever had. These are too expensive to not even be able to get two wears out of them. And I don’t know what to do about getting our school uniform logo on something else.

This is our third year buying Land's End Uniforms for our son, and unfortunately every year we have the same issue with these polo shirts - they shrink incredibly upon washing. Our size Medium probably shrunk about 3", making it effectively a crop-top for our son. While I should have learned my lesson from previous years and hung it to dry, I would expect a brand like Land's End to be a bit more proactive considering the wear-and-tear that comes with uniforms, meant to be worn daily throughout the school year.

Very poor quality. After one wash, my sons shirt has three small holes in it. Not to mention, it stretches out of shape from just putting the shirt on.

Like how it feels and looks but it fades very quickly and runs VERY large. Beware. The jump from size to size is significant.

Disappointed is an understatement. I ordered few of these for school uniform with a monogram. I had read reviews that they shrink so i sized up. Product arrived, it was made in bangladesh, amazing quality, durable fabric, no shrinking whatsoever, FANTASTIC, 5 stars. BUT, the monogram was wrong. So i asked them to resend me with correct monogram and requested to size down. This product’s quality was different, made in indonesia, thinner fabric, shrinked almost 4 inches with first wash, my child,s waist is going to show pretty easily upon raising arms or in the playground. So order at your own risk, its like lottery, you either get shrinked thin product with sizing chaos to deal with or the excellent one. I am beyond disappointed. No wonder the mixed reviews . I bought this in grey as well as two other colors. Everything is great and I’m so glad I bought from lands end! It made everything so easy and the quality is great. I am waiting on a reply about an order though about one small hole/cut in a grey shirt. I hope to hear back soon, I have no doubt we’ll figure the issue out.

After one wash, this shirt is already full of holes. I’m so disappointed with the quality of all the shirts we received. What a waste of money.

Great quality, just too expensive for a shirt she'll grow out of.

Runs slightly small, but the fit is nice and the material seems quality, so that makes up for it.

Quality is great, sizing is horrible. I can't find the correct size anymore after my child wearing the exact same polo for several years. The measurements are off. The XXL is huge and the XL is too small. I'm moving on to find another brand.

I have been buying these polos for a couple of years now as they are the requirement for my boys' school uniforms. Every year I have to purchase at least 1-2 sizes larger than what they normally wear and what is listed on the size chart. After one wash these shirts shrink at least 4 inches in length (see attached picture). I follow the care instructions on the tag and wash in warm water, tumble dry very low heat. My son is 9 years old and the size large 10/12 shirts from last year no longer fit him. I now have to order him the size XL 14/16 shirt and he is only 9 years old (57 inches tall and slim). I don't know what I'm going to order him when he actually is 14. There is only one more size to choose from. They also fade bad and rip easy. Im am very frustrated because I have spent a lot of money on these shirts and have to frequently replace them because the quality is so terrible. Lands' End either needs to improve the quality of this shirt, or make more larger sizes availble since they shrink so much.

Found a hole in one sleeve. The seaming in areas is crooked, mainly at the button area. The stitching is rougher than expected. The shirts are a size larger than expected based on the sizing guide. Very disappointed by the quality and fit.
