LE turtlenecks are my favorite! I purchased a couple of different colors in my regular size (L), which gives me a fitted look, making it great for layering. I have this turtleneck in Navy, which I wear unlayered, and the fitted fit makes me feel a little sexy. The other colors I layer under thick wool/alpaca sweaters, to wear them, and this LE product keeps me nice and warm! The material is "fine" - high-quality that is thick and washes well (lighter colors are not see-through). The neck isn't overly fitted, which I think is something most people expect with a turtleneck. It makes you feel secure without choking you, which I think is a bonus. I recommend this product!

For anyone searching for a close-fitting, high-necked turtle that does not look like a baggy cowlneck! I have worn this same Lands End classic turtleneck for years. Excellent quality, fabric and fit. I wore through my considerable collection of various colors, and finally decided to select four of my favorite: the PERFECT plain black T-neck. I am so thrilled! Great price, delivered quickly. Am tempted to order more....

I thought this would be a good quality shirt, since it's label is Lands End. Boy, was I wrong. after just one season, and not wearing it very much, it still got the little holes in the front that really cheap t-shirts get. I am very disappointed. I bought 2, thinking they would be worth the money. but I was wrong
