    Great basic turtleneck.

    Great for layering or on its own. Only complaint is neck is a little tight when putting on the shirt - but comfy once on.

    nNworth any money despite a sale price

    So disappointed. Lands End turtlenecks used to the best around no question. This is so thin, the sleeves ride up under a sweater, neck is so long, going to try and cut it and resew. Very thin material, no warmth at all. Says cotton content but this is the older modal thin material. Washed and dried it, a mass of wrinkles but you would not dare put an iron to it, pretty certain it would melt. I certainly miss the older 50/50 turtlenecks - had them in almost all the colors as they lasted for years.

    Disappointing

    I have several cotton/modal rollnecks from Lands End and I love them, but this one has a lower percentage of cotton resulting in floppy synthetic-feeling material so I returned it.

    Neck is too big

    Bought this last year but very disappointed. The turtleneck part is very loose and bunches up and doesn’t look good. Fabric is soft but neck is too big.

    Good fit handy to wear as layering.

    Purchased for a Burns Night party. The polo neck is quite high and tightly fitted. I think it would be better a little more loosely fitted. Otherwise very nice garment.

    Perfect for layering!

    I layer in the winter and this jersey turtleneck (vs. the Pima cotton turtleneck) is very smooth and doesn’t bunch up inside my other layers. Now, one caveat, it could be even better if the neck stood up strong along the neckline.

    Not good, fabric is too thin

    I bought this last week. Fabric SO thin, where is the cotton in it? Colour good and size OK but no warmth or thickness to fabric . Have bought similar from L End before, but not again . Very disappointed.

    Should have read the fabric blend

    My fault for not reading the fabric blend. Extremely disappointed, the fabric feels a pair of nylon tights. Great monograming, but sadly $$ straight to the trash.

    YES! I have been looking for these for YEARS!

    Oh thank you thank you thank you Lands End! I hate to say this, because it reeks of ad-speak, but FINALLY, a silky lightweight turtleneck, perfect for layering, not too bulky, long enough for a secure tuck-in, that comes in lots of colors, and it was CHEAP! I bought one (in red). I put it on. I bought five more. Seriously. I am going to purge all my unsatisfactory turtlenecks and replace them with these. I sure hope the other colors live up to this red one I am wearing RIGHT NOW. :) :) :) Sure hope they wear as well as the good old cotton ones.

    Neck too tight

    Ordered two of these last year but didn't try on until recently. The neck was way too tight & I simply couldn't wear it. I've worn the Landsend Supima turtlenecks for many years with no issues: women's size small. I wrongly assumed these would fit the same. When I pulled up my order and clicked onto it, the turtleneck isn't even the same fabric, which makes me think there were issues. I'll just have to be more careful about what the fabric when I'm ordering and try things on immediately. The two I ordered will go to the Salvation Army center.

    Perfect for layering

    The fabric and colors are lovely. They are perfect for under a sweater or fleece pullover. My only complaint is that the neck doesn't stay up - no matter what I do to it.

    Not what they once were.

    I have several of these from years ago, and have been very happy with them. I wanted one in red, the colour is true to the picture, but the quality of the fabric is not the same. The sleeves and body are ideal for the taller person. The Landsend roll necks were far superior to any other brand, now they are average.I have returned, as I purchased for your once superior quality.

    Runs Small Now

    I purchased the black multi floral as I thought it looked pretty. After washing and letting it hang dry, it shrank. I normally can wear a small in Lands End, but this was too small so now must return it and pay for shipping. I don't know if I will buy another as I don't know if the Medium will be a good fit.

    Poor quality.

    I bought this very recently on the basis that I have 2 old ones from over 10 years ago. The material is very cheap and not cotton and the seams inside are rough and scratchy. Very inferior quality. What a shame. Lands End were a good quality catalogue brand.
