    Disappointed

    Hoped to duplicate other corduroy pants from Land's End but these were a terrible disappointment .The fabric is so thin that light shines through it and the sizing was far too large. Returned.

    Pants are very nicely made, however, I normally wear a 18 or 20. Both of those were too small so I ordered a 22 which was larger everywhere else except the waist which was still too small. So I gave up.

    I needed good black pants, these looked good. Fit is fine however I will have to hem them. Wish you were still offering free hemming on more of your pants!

    What’s happened to the sizing?

    I bought these trousers in a size bigger than the Lands End cord jeans I am currently wearing, for a little more comfort. To my surprise I couldn’t even do up the button. I have been wearing Lands End trousers for many years and always found their sizing completely reliable so I am very disappointed to find that I can no longer rely on it. I went elsewhere and bought another brand of jeans in the same size which were an excellent fit.

    Great fit for the larger sizes.

    Soft, comfortable, slimline but not tight. Just a perfect fit. Am delighted. Good length too. Most trousers these days are far too long.

    Nice black cords

    They are generally excellent - very comfortable, and I was very pleased that they are a good dark black in colour, unlike some other black trousers I have bought online. My only quibble is that the height of the waist (when I first unpacked them) is exactly the same at the front and the back, whereas I myself bulge out quite a bit further at the back! This means that they do not really come up high enough at the back, but at the front they come up too high, if anything - above waist level, which is pretty high for mid-rise. But generally, they are very good.

    sizing has changed :(

    I own several of these corduroys, purchased over the last 2 or 3 years. Same size 18W this year's version are a lighter weight (which is fine) but the waist is 2" smaller and the rise (both front and back ) seems different also. I am keeping, but am bummed about the sizing change. As other reviewers mention, the waist is uncomfortably tight, especially when seated. I assumed sizing would be like last year's version, even called to confirm and was told that the only change is that corduroy is a finer wale.

    Weird shape

    I was super excited for these (bought them in four colors) but I should have believed the reviews! Waist is proportionately much too small for a plus woman. Seemed okay when I first put them on, but the pants stretched way out and are really baggy but the waist is still a little snug.

    Waistline too small/constricting

    Bought two pairs l, size 20W. Normally wear an 18W but because these have little stretch to them, went up a size. Pants fit great everywhere but the waist, too tight with ZERO give. Uncomfortable when sitting down cutting you in half. Not everyone has an hourglass shape. A little stretch in the waistline would have made these perfect. Unfortunately returning.

    Sizing is Off

    I ordered 3 pair of these pants: 16W, 18W, 20W...none of them fit. The 16W was too tight. The 18W I could not zip and the 20W was altogether too big. The corduroy is really sturdy and warm with stretch...which is why I went to such lengths to try to find the right size. Too bad.
