    soft fabric with stretchy waistband

    I love the knit corduroy fabric which is very soft, stretchy, and warm without bulk for Chicago winters. XS petite fits me perfectly which means that they are bigger than they used to be decades ago before size creep since I've gained some weight since then. For that reason I also appreciate that the waistband has elastic that can stretch gently to accommodate my post-mid-life waistline. A previous version of the Sport Knit pants had elastic that could stretch enough, but felt a little tight.

    These pants will be good for winter! I have two pairs of Lands end cords from last year and those did have more cotton in them, but these are just fine. I will have to do a small hem, but that seems to be the way things are these days for petite clothing.

    Fabric quality has declined

    I've had lots of these in years past but wanted a new pair. The fabric isn't the same. Lot's thinner and scratchy against the legs. The sizing has also changed.

    Way Off!!

    I ordered the burgundy color. Size small. These pants were huge on me, baggy, way too long and fabric was thin. Not at all like the spirts knit cords I bought in the past. Very disappointed. I am 5'5" 115 lbs. Do NOT recommend.

    Big and thin

    I bought these because I thought I was buying what the description said "Corduroy". The fabric is more like a flannel, a very think flannel and the was way too big. I'm so disappointed. They are more like very light sweatpants.

    I really wanted these to work out.

    I really wanted these pants to work for me, but they do not. I bought two pair the same size but different colors. The sizing was quite inconsistent. The inseam was at least an inch longer and the waistband an inch bigger as well. I am returning them both. :(

    why is fabric getting worse?

    This is the third pair of these pants over five years. Each new pair, the fabric is more flimsy and less like real corduroy. Why? The ones that arrived yesterday are so synthetic they have almost a yucky oily feel to them. I notice also the pockets bag out thus the design is flawed. I love corduroy and these are NOT that. Call them what they are - thin creepy velour.

    Comfy but they shrink in length

    I bought three pair of these about a month ago. Washed in cold water and dried on low. They shrank so much in length that they are now ankle length. They were the correct length before. Very disappointed in this product. Ordered a regular size medium. I am 5'6". Weigh 135

    Warm and comfortable

    These have been my go-to slacks for many winters. I wear them almost every day as they are warmer than jeans and more comfortable. I have them in every color. Highly recommend. Note that they do run large, in my opinion.

    Hard to call this corduroy.

    Not the corduroy I expected. This was extremely soft and stretchy material with an elastic waist that doesn’t hold up if you put anything in the pockets. They don’t look bad in the mirror, but while they’re warm and suitable for, maybe, a wear home choice after colorectal surgery, they weren’t what I expected so that’s on me.
