Lands' End Women's Starfish Mid Rise Knit Leggings

I heard so many good things about these and was excited to try them out. The fabric is soft and just the right amount of thickness/sturdiness vs stretchiness, my measurements say a 2x should fit perfectly... I wanted to love them, but the way they're cut is just so weird! The inseam:rise ratio is way off, so the crotch is like halfway down my thighs, but if I pull them up so the crotch is where it belongs, they're too short - and I am not a tall or long-legged person! (I often order petite or hem/cuff my pants!) But the worst is that they're somehow rather baggy in front, especially across the hips, but really tight in the back at the same height, which doesn't make any sense since you'd think the fabric would just pull around to where it's needed, but somehow that's not happening. The rise also feels out of alignment - like, I can pull the waistband up to my bra or fully/comfortably fold it over in front, but the back of the waistband barely hits where I'd expect a midrise waistband to land with zero give, and already feels like a perpetual wedgie! When I first put them on I thought I'd put them on backwards, but I took them off and double checked and the label is in the back... that's how it should be, right? I'd return them but I already wore them out of the house so I suspect I'm stuck with them.

Very nice pair of leggings. They were a great price and very comfortable. I just fought them too big and they bunch up but they’re very comfortable and the material is soft so I kept.

I have bought Starfish leggings for many years, I have dozens of pairs. Up until now I loved everything about them, considered them to be a wardrobe staple. However, the charcoal leggings I purchased recently are sized significantly smaller than all the other starfish leggings I have purchased in the same size over the years, these are about 5-6 inches smaller in the waist and hips. The garment measurements do not correspond to those given in the Item Dimensions chart.

Bought 3 pairs in black, blue, and gray. Substantial and soft material. They hold their shape, which means no baggy knees! Very comfortable and they look nice. At another sale I picked up 3 more pairs!

Love these leggings. Great weight & not super clingy.

My best estimation is that I have purchased at least 30 pair of these leggings over the years! I am a quadriplegic who spends a great deal of time sitting; the fabric content of these pants allows for many hours of comfort.

Great color, fabric feel and fit! First time wearing, the fabric pilled in inner thigh area. I would have purchased other colors, but not now. I have a pair of Starfish pants from several years ago in perfect condition. They were made with more durable fabric.

My first pair arrived last week. Wore them and ordered two more. I am 5' 11" tall and 200+ pounds. Size 18 fits perfectly, and are long enough. The waist does not slip down. High-quality leggings.

I really love these leggings. They are soft but they do not show bulges. They fit perfectly and are not so tight that they squeeze you.

Substantial soft material. Found a little big for my skinny legs. Also the large waistband likes to roll. Just long enough with the tall. Overall, they are nice.

I needed new black leggings with a little substance! These are perfect weight for cooler months and fit me well.

I’ve worn these leggings in black for years. I bought 3 additional black pairs because mine were fading. The leggings that arrived were lighter in color than the faded ones I was replacing. While they didn’t appear to be used, I was disappointed in what I assume is your new “black” color choice.

I bought these pants within the last month. They look and feel great. However, the black dye of the leggings transfers on to my yoga mat. Not an acceptable feature! Lands End, please correct the undesirable characteristics of your black dye. I have washed several times and will continue until problem is remedied.

Material is so thin not great for leggings. Bought 2 black color for work I don’t think I will wear them for my work. I didn’t return them, I will keep it for daily use inside at home. I am afraid to wear them outside because is so thin material it might rip or break. I love the MID RISE but do not really like HIGH RISE! Lands End need to use THICK MATERIAL for leggings and not everyone like HIGH RISE, I prefer to wear MID RISE short/pants/leggings.
