I have a medium in this sweater from many years ago and it has never pilled or stretched, it's still just beautiful. So this week I ordered a black and a periwinkle in M. These are much smaller than the M from several years ago and the yarn weight is noticeably lighter than the previous one - not nearly as nice. Very disappointed in the quality and the cut which is narrow at the waist and therefore the bust. A true classic in the former version, too trendy and cheaper in this new version. Very disappointing. They will be going back.

Beautifull spring colors not offered in pieties. I am finding more and more products not offered in pieties. I guess Lands End does not value its pietie customers. I tried the regular, but it does not fit correctly.

I am 5'9" and the sleeves are barely long enough. I find myself regularly tugging them down. I think the sleeves would likely be too short for anyone taller, which is disappointing for a tall size.

Huge! Average size is 4-6, mostly a 6. The size small “6-8” is humongous. If you are between sizes, definitely size down. Most size 4 items at Lands End barely fit. So this was a disappointment. Sadly the smaller size is sold out. I am 5’ 9”, and very athletic. Range is 134-140# the size “small” was to literally make anyone larger feel great about the tag size as most other brands I am always a 6, and can hardly fit a 4.

The color of the deep sea navy is shown in the photo as a royal blue color, but came and is actually dark navy. lso, I was almost unable to unbutton the sweater to try it on because the button holes are so tight. Am returning it.

I packed this shortly after receiving it for a six week trip. During that trip I wore it probably eight days. While unpacking it I noticed that it was noticeably pilly throughout its front and sleeves. I have cashmere sweaters ( mostly purchased in Scotland) which are decades old and in better shape than this is after six weeks. The purple heather is a lovely color and the knit is soft, but this seems a poor value purchase.

Do the math before you buy this or any cashmere. This is 30% off not 40% off. In my catalog it's not marked as an exception, either. They are nice sweaters. I already have a crew and a cardi. I'd be very happy with another one, but at 40% off.

Purchased this sweater and another last year. While I like the “donegal” yarn with flecks and I truly love that I can get these in tall sizing; I am quite unhappy about other things with these sweaters. The weight of the sweaters is on the light side but cardis are layered, so it’s not a huge issue. The largest issue for me is that the cuffs on theses cardies are less than an inch long. In fact, I think they are about a half inch. This makes these sweater look un-balanced in some way and they definitely look more casual than a classic cardi. Save your money and buy vintage on e-bay.

Excellent quality - and let me tell you why. I accidentally threw the cardigan in the washing machine - It was washed with everything in warm water. It even went through the spin cycle of my very old washing machine, which is to say it was not a gentle spin. When I pulled it out, I was dismayed at the sight of it (t looked a little sorry), but thought, well, I've done it now, so I set it out on a rack to dry. What do you know? When it dried beautifully! It looks exactly as it did before I washed it. It did not fade, it did not shrink, it kept its form, and it did not pill!
