    Less warm

    The quality has certainly deteriorated in the past few years. The new ones are as thin as the regular sport knit and not really the heavier corduroy.

    Too big

    I bought t these pants in small petite and should have ordered extra small. They are huge on me, I’m 5 feet and 112 pounds. I’m keeping them to wear around the house because don’t want To pay for return shipping.

    Great Fit & Rich Black Color

    I ordered this style a years back and the black color was faint (almost charcoal) but the ones that I received this fall (2025) are a Rich, Deep Black and are beautiful! The fit is amazing as well. Buying more!

    Horrible

    These are the worse pants I ever have ordered, the crotch comes down practically to your knees. There is no way the pockets are going to lay flat, the fabric is too flimsy. I would only wear these for pajamas never out in public.

    I love that these are traditional cotton-poly. Comfy, look pretty good even though they are too big. I would have preferred an option for 12-14. I chose 14-16 and these are more 16.

    Loss of Cotton content now welcome

    I am lamenting the 13% drop in Cotton content compared to prior years (was 75% now 63%) Cotton is durable and comfortable in all weather. The new ones are thinner looking and feeling on the body. and not as warm or as moisture wicking as before. Why degrade a winner!

    Disappointing

    Feels like pajama bottoms - too light to wear outside here in western New York. They are shapeless, unflattering. I plan to give these brand new pants to a homeless shelter where someone may need or want them.

    Way Too Long!

    I ordered these pants in a petite extra large. The description said that the length of the petite pants is 27.5 inches, which should have been just right. These were so long that I could walk on the bottoms of the pants; even with boots on, the pants puddled at the bottom. I'll be returning.

    Way, way, way too long

    Form reverts to tall, but I am reviewing petite. What does Lands End think has happened to short women? The same knit cords that I have bought for years, are suddenly several inches too long. I ordered two versions--both too long. I ordered a smaller size--still too long.

    These definitely run large. I wear a size 10 and bought a size S in this pant. The seat was right, the waist was right. The side pockets did not gap.

    Looks awful, wears great

    I love this and have several pairs. They look horrible. They'll never not look horrible. This model is as good as it gets. I don't care, though -- they're incredibly comfortable, warm, they're not leggings, they've got pockets, they do the trick, and I don't have to look at myself -- that's other people's problem. Plus you can do yoga in them! Garden in them! Sleep in them! Don't hesitate.

    I loved the fabric and the overall construction. The pockets don't sit flush, though, and the pants were way too big although I followed the size guide. I returned them and will try again with a smaller size.

    Poor fit

    I’m 5’3” and ordered as suggested by size chart a medium. They were way too big. Length worked if I pulled them up underneath my bra. Material wasn’t what I expected a corduroy to be like, thin material. Sent back both pairs.

    I expected to love these pants. I have a few pairs from previous years that I love. The corduroy is much thinner, and does not drape as nicely either. I am keeping them because they are okay, but I really wish Lands End would go back to the previous heavier material. I will not purchase these again unless I see reviews that they went back to a heavier material. I don't think I've ever been disappointed in a LE purchase before.

    I have been buying these pants for 4-5 years. They are super comfortable and can be used for work and leisure events. However, the material has gotten thinner. I used to wear them only in the fall/winter for warmth as well as comfort. However, last year the replacements I bought were not as heavy. They were not as warm walking through my work parking lots in the winter. Please consider the weight of the corduroy for the season. Corduroy is not a summer look and shouldn't be a summer weight.

    Well-made, but way mis-sized

    I normally wear Lands End size 6. Based on my size history, I ordered a petite small in charcoal and one in brown. They are not only way too loose (the photo indicates they are form-fitting), but also bunch at the ankle. I have to return them.

    Not sized for petites

    I have worn the petite large sport knit pants and shorts for years, but these corduroy sport knit pants were definitely not petite. The waist of the pants came up to my chest and the pants legs were still extremely long even then. Not cut appropriately for petites!

    Waist band elastic too wide

    I have an older pair of these. I like the waistband on the older one better. On those, it's 1 inch. The new ones are 1 1/2 inches. But other than that, I like these pants.
