essentially it is what it tells us it is. a fruit and nut bar with some pumpkin spice. nothing fancy, flavors are subtle and work nicely together. i’m not really getting the pie flavor specifically but the ingredients are great and i love the no added sugar!

Purchased both the Pumpkin Pie and the Gingerbread Larabars several months ago to test them out which would determine if I was interested in buying more. I would agree with some of the other revies that noted the Pumpkin Pie was spicy; and, that did take me back because I wasn't sure if it was too much for me too. On the other hand, by the time i got to the second and then third bar, I was sold on the spicy flavors. While I am not normally one that leans towards spicier items as a whole, the Pumpkin Pie Larbars really grew on me big time. Thus, I was bummed when I was unable to get more by the time I got around to it. The same goes for the Gingerbread. If they return before next year, I will be sure to snatch more up so that they last longer than just after the holiday seasons end. They were spicier on the taste buds at first; however, I found them to be delicious as well. As for specific flavors that come through the most are are nutmeg for the PPie and ginger for the Gingerbread. Since they both have cinnamon in them, that provides a lovely spicy blend.

Bought this for a hike in the fall and was excited to try the pumpkin pie flavor. The flavor itself was not overpowering and was actually quite good, but like all larabars, it was just way too sweet. I probably won't be buying again.

I am by no means a picky eater but I am picky with granola bars and what not. These are the best bars I have ever had. It's really only 8 ingredients. It tastes healthy. It's a filling snack. Don't even hesitate, just buy it.

I am a big fan of Larabars because they taste good and don't have added sugars. Pumpkin Pie is an exception. To me it has a weird taste of perfume. Thinking it was just that day, I tried it again and was still turned off by the perfume taste. I am apparently the exception as many seem to like this flavor. My favorites: apple pie, peanut butter cookie, and cashew bar. I've recently tried the cinnamon roll and like that also.
