Q: Can this be mounted using command strips?

A: I wouldn't think so, it seems a bit heavy for those.

A: I am not sure I understand the question. Do you mean horizontal mounting vs. vertical mounting? My shelf is vertically mounted. It works very well.
submitted byxxx - 8 years agoA: Yes, the shelf piece seems rather flexible in the way you're asking. My wife and I didn't know for certain at first, how to build it and mount it, but we did notice there is more than 1 way to configure this corner shelf unit.

Q: how do you attach this to your wall? do I need to find a beam to attach this ?

A: You don't have to look for a beam as this item goes in a corner. First assemble the item to know where do you wanted to be hang by using the pre hole that is located on the top and bottom shelves. Once you measure it you will need to drill a hole and tap in the anchor on the shelf and screw it .

Q: I purchased this but lost the hardware. Can anyone tell me what hardware comes with it so I can purchase it at a hardware store. I love this shelf and hate to see it go to waste.

A: I bought it about a year ago. If my memory serves me I believe it came with short screws to put the actual shelf together and longer screws as well as plastic anchors to hang it. Hope that helps!! It is a nice corner shelf.

A: The distance between the corner of the shelf and the end on each side is 7.75 inches. I do not believe this is enough to fit size 11 shoes

A: Using a nail is not recommended as the wall shelf could come down. All installation hardware is included in the box.

Fast assembly, but there is a lot of allen wrench use involved. only real issue is the holes to attach to wall are in only one area, so we werent able to get it attached to a stud. on its own its a heavy unit for its size, so we would have liked to secured it that way. it is a nice look for the bathroom to have a small corner shelf and opened up floor space.

I ordered it because it was walnut colored. It seems more like espresso, it’s dark for a walnut finish. It is a cute shelf for smaller decorative items and it is suitable for that. My husband who’s in repair and maintenance said it was a pain to put together and hang and he never complains so glad I wasn’t solo for that part. Overall could be better for the price.

This shelf is SO cute! It is absolutely perfect for our teeny tiny super small guest room. Assembly was not terribly difficult, but it took about 30 minutes because assembly requires about 22 screws. It appears to be as sturdy as (if not a bit sturdier than) other "assembly required" furniture / shelves. More pleased than I expected!

I love this shelf because it’s super interesting looking and it’s great for a kids bedroom because you can place it closer to the ceiling so that small children can’t get to things on it.

I put this in my daughter's room a week before she was born, I just took it down to paint her room (she's 1.5 yrs old) and the shelf is all but falling apart. The front trim of the shelves is lifting off and every single screw is loose. It will definitely need some TLC if we are able to put it back up. Needless to say the shelf hasn't been touched so not sure why it's coming apart.

I love the shelf. The style is exactly what I was looking for. However, there is not as much space between each shelf as stated in the description. I bought the shelf for all of my lotions, and they don't fit.

I was super excited to get this shelving unit for my bedroom. It matches the wood color of most of my furniture fairly well, and I just need to get things up! Putting it together was pretty easy, but I noticed right away that the pieces didn’t sit flush based on the drill holes. I figured it would be ok. When I went to put the first anchor in the wall, it said to just hammer it in. I tried, no luck, and since it’s not my first shelf I knew to just make a small hole (smaller than the anchor) and then bam, no issue. First anchor is in. When I went to put the screw in the top for the wall it pushed the anchor straight through! So now I had to find my own anchor, and unfortunately while my anchor was better and held, when I went to screw the bottom into the wall, because the shelf itself was not even, the bottom screw missed the anchor! So I had to start over again. But I ended up with a hole in the wall removing the unit for a second time. Now I’ve patched the wall and am waiting for it to dry while I contemplate if this shelf is going to be worth the very clear struggle. I’ve put plenty of shelves and frames, and all kinds of items on my walls with no issues, very disappointed in the quality of this product and that’s what has made it so difficult to install.

Looks cute and ordered a second to mirror the first. Just needed something small for plants. Will not hold crazy weight so consider what you want it for. As expected. Easy to assemble.
