[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely could tell bristles are synthetic. Way too stiff for smooth finish. Another purchase that will go to the bottom of the makeup drawer unfortunately. And it wasn’t cheap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a total game changer, seriously!!!I’ve always struggled, putting on any kind of foundation, whether it be with a sponge fingers other brushes. It always looked like I had too much in one spot and not enough in another never blending correctly..This brush has changed everything! I start by putting a little foundation on the top of my hand, lightly touched the brush to the foundation, and I startin the center of my face and work outward. My make up goes on flawless now! I am so happy I feel more confident, use less product and my makeup looks Perfect! No more settling into dry patches, even though I use Serum’s and a high-quality moisturizer. I do use the pure canvas hydrating primer, which I absolutely adore!I highly recommend getting this primer and this brush, especially if you have dry skin! You’ll be amazed at the great results! Total game changer! I am 68 with very dry skin. So glad I no longer have to struggle with getting my makeup to look nice without settling into dry patches!You will wish you had splurged on the brush a long time ago! It makes a fabulous gift!

I looked at some high end stuff : Wayne Goss, Lisa Eldridge, etc. I don't wear foundation often but I am getting to the age bracket where I really need it, and didn't like how nasty those little egg-shaped sponges can become and how much product they absorb. Soon enough my search led me to Laura Mercier, and I diligently read through all of the reviews just like your'e doing right now. One of them gushed about how soft and flawless the application was (sure) and was amazed at the fact that NONE of the foundation was left on the brush afterwards. SUUUUUUURE, I thought. Well I'm here to eat my words because EVERYTHING THEY SAID IS TRUE. I can't believe how dense and soft this brush is, how it didn't leave streaks on my skin, and most of all how once I'm done using it there is NO product left on the bristles. Like the brush literally looks like it's never been used. Insane! Highly highly recommend. Am going to buy a second one for travel!

Holy cow, I am so ashamed I never knew what I was missing but I’m so excited to know now! Everything about this brush is luxurious, the shape, the firmness of the bristles, the smooth way it buffs out your foundation, EVERYTHING. I feel like a queen every morning with my new LM brushes. Do yourself a favor and get this brush, its worth it!
