I had to fix the taste of this to bring down the extremely salty taste. It took several extra ingredients to get it right, but that’s entirely to much considering it’s a marinade. I would not recommend this unless you don’t mind having to doctor up the taste to your liking.

Read ingredients, guessed it was balanced for making Philippine/Asian chicken. Marinated with excess sauce and slow-cooked chicken thighs in a smaller pan. (325F/2hr/flips) OMG! So rich, so nice!

Bitter, thin, not sweet. Not at all authentic teriyaki. Even after adding sugar, still tastes bitter. Maybe Good as a marinade but I definitely do not recommend for stir fry.

I marinated 7 chicken thighs and grilled them in the Teriyaki Marinade. I grilled them for 6-7 minutes on each side (until done with a nice char). I sliced the thighs and served with roasted asparagus and Jasmine rice. For Keto friendly, I served it to my husband without the Jasmine rice. My picky husband gave me a nod of approval on this meal. I used the left overs in take along organizers for the next day. Adding this to my pantry Staples.

This teriyaki sauce is awesome. It goes great with chicken & pork and doesn't overpower. It's a great blend of teriyaki & pineapple flavors and it's great to use when you don't want to do all the work with making a homemade marinade.
