This used to be my favorite. First they changed the noodles, which wasn't a really a big deal. But the last two I got were half empty. Like you uncover it to stir midway through cooking and you can see half of the bottom of the container with not a speck of cheese on it. This never used to happen before. I guess if they want to keep it cheap, now they are only giving you half a meal. Can't recommend this anymore.

The cheese sauce is very grainy which I Am not the biggest fan of. However it is only 280 calories for 18 grams of protein which is not bad. It is filling and the overall flavour is not bad at all. For 3 bucks it is a good choice

I’m not sure why people expect an exquisite meal from a 3 dollar frozen dish. For what it’s worth, it tastes great and has a decent amount of protein. I have two for lunch at work to fill me up.

However, with limited time and resources, this organic option seemed like a promising choice. The cheddar sauce offered a delightful creaminess, though its texture was initially a bit unfamiliar compared to traditional American cheese. Undeterred, I decided to experiment by incorporating a can of unsalted chickpeas for added protein, fiber, and a delightful counterbalance to the richness. While my microwave required extra cooking time, the pasta held up beautifully, perfectly absorbing the cheesy sauce. The result was a tender, comforting dish with a satisfying cheddar flavor. The saltiness was manageable and easily adjusted with the addition of chickpeas. Overall, this frozen mac and cheese was a pleasant surprise! It's a versatile base for culinary creativity, and I can't wait to explore different flavor combinations.

The container was almost empty. You could see the bottom. The serving size have shrunk so much now. Not worth the price.
