durable and engaging building set
Durable and engaging building toy set with 150 pieces. Great for group play and problem-solving. Sturdy bucket storage. Some pegs on gears broke after years of use, but overall a good choice. Avoid motorized sets for more focus on mechanical challenges.

Three cheers for Gears!
This product just amazes the students. The Pre-school children love this manipulative. They put the grids in different formations, add gears, and see if they turn. Of course, they always do! LOVE this product!

This is a great product! We bought a set about 4 years ago for our breakfast club where the children absolutely love it. I bought this set recently for our new after school club where the children are equally entertained by it. We have had numerous different creations already. It allows the children to be inquisitive and creative. Top product!

Gears Gears Grears keeps toddlers busy love it !
My toddler who has ASD loves this toy it keeps him busy and helps with his fine & gross motor skills , also great for hand & eye coordination . Great toy for every child .

Hours of father/daughter fun
My daughter is not quite three. I got her this for Christmas because she likes to build and it seemed like it would be good for fine motor skill development. So far, she has pulled this off the shelf every day. She enjoyed building towers, rearranging the gears, and figuring out why all the gears are not spinning. I have had a great time playing alongside her, making cars, towers, and different building shapes. I would have liked to have been able to have gears spin in different planes, but we are both having a great time with this set.

Love the Gears, bought for my grandkids and they have all had a great time playing. Even the adults join in the fun. Three kids have played at one time with the biggest argument being not enough cranks and base. That said everyone still loves them.

We're disappointed, too.
This was advertised as large enough to entertain more than one child, so we ordered 3 sets for 3 families. We couldn't find them in any local stores. But there is only one crank per set and everyone wants a crank!! Can you Please offer individual cranks for sale if you can't put more than one in the large set.

As this was a Christmas gift for my grandson, a little disappointed to find one of the bases that the gears attach to broken when he opened it. Otherwise, an excellent product.

Great product. Bought a set for my students to use during their free choice time. I discovered that one set was not enough, so I bought the super set. It's a good value because you get a lot of pieces, enough for a few kids to share and not have to fight over pieces. I love to observe the creativity that is fostered when the kids assemble working machines. There is no wrong way to play. There is a great sense of accomplishment when my students build and create.

Permanent favourite!
We bought this set to help with creativity and fine motor skills. The set has been used extensively by my children and their friends. Its a permanent favourite which gets used not just on its own but with all our other toys. The creativity is never ending although there is an activity guide the gears are brilliant for all aged children as they each get something different out of their creations. My daughter loves to see her creations move, my son loves to see how tall he can build something. A fantastic set for groups or promoting imagination. We have created houses, planes, garages, mazes and cars. Once you have finished playing all the gears can be packed away in the robust plastic tub.
