Building Discs - 350pc - Gigglescape™: Educational Building Sets, Fine Motor Skills, Shapes & Colors, Ages 3+

I love the idea of this toy, but it's very hard to put the pieces together. My child is 2.5 years old and she can't connect the pieces with my help.

These building disks would be great in a classroom setting! This is a really fun manipulative for young children. It was simple enough for my 3 yeah old to get the hang of and it was fun to follow the suggested pattern ideas. It’s definitely a lot of pieces so the bucket comes in handy.

I love the idea of these. They are more age appropriately sized for younger children. I love the bright colors. However, they are too hard to assemble for young children. It took quite a bit of force to put pieces together. I'll be returning these. I read a review with similar comments, but still wanted to to try for myself. My three year old would get frustrated. I have used Brain Flakes and don't have this hard of a time putting pieces together.

These building discs are comparable to the popular brain flakes, and in my opinion are much better especially for families with toddler kids. I have 3 tots 5 and under and have avoided brain flakes because they’re too small and a choking hazard. The diameter of these discs are much bigger than brain flakes, a bit bigger than a half dollar size coin or the size of a hot wheels car. The discs are thick too. I’d still be careful around 18m olds and younger, but I wouldn’t be as concerned if my 18m got a hold of these. The discs assemble pretty good, but as other reviews have mentioned, if all the slots on a disc get filled up, the last slot is hard to connect but you can make it work. Not a big deal to me. Love the sturdy storage bucket it comes with, and the colors are really pretty. My 5 and 3 year old love building structures, animals, and bracelet/crowns/necklaces with this. I myself have enjoyed playing with it with the kids too.

There are a LOT of pieces that are hard to keep track of. That said, they are really fun to build with

We love Gigglescape toys and buy them regularly. My four year-old loves these brain flakes and they even keep my 8 year old entertained.

My kids absolutely love these and can make so many things with them.

The toy was broken when it arrived. No instructions were included at all! Definitely don’t recommend!!

Maybe mine was defected but when we tried to put together the round pieces with more than 4 connecting points, the 5th gap becomes too small from being squeezed, thus unable connect to another piece.

Had bought a smaller box and 4yr old had so much fun that I bought this larger set to add to it. Keeps them busy and fun for older kids too

This Gigglescape building disk set is great fun! There are 350 disks of multiple shapes and bright colors to build with. The set comes with a handy booklet with ideas of what you can make but it’s also great to let imaginations flow and build whatever you like. Not only fun for the kids but adults too! Bonus, it comes in a handy bucket for easy clean up and storage.

My daughter absolutely loved these, she was having fun building all of the stuff it comes on the paper inside. This here was a giraffe . There are so many things you can come up with and it’s so fun to see the creativity

My son loves these building toys. They are unique, easy to build with, and allow creative thinking. The bucket they come in is great to store, and is sturdy. Even better, you can buy other sets to add to your collection.

350 pieces to build whatever your mind lets you. Easy to snap together the possibilities are endless. The top of the bucket has grid lines to snap the building disc onto it to use as platform or you can build off your table. It definitely keeps my kids busy.

These are different and fun! The bucket is surprisingly large and there are lots of pieces to be creative with. My 8 year old was easily able to build all of the sets in the idea book, and then create some of his own. This can be used for a wide variety of ages.

These Building Discs by GiggleScape are new favorite in our house. 350 pieces in a storage bucket. The kids like building and creating with these discs. There are 5 shapes in an assortment of colors. The lid can be used as a base for designing.

The building discs are a huge hit with my sons who are 2, 7, and 11. I loved watching all of the unique things they each built. Endless ideas! There are several different styles and several pieces of each style. The pieces are very durable and can be built on top of the lid (my only complaint is that you can’t use the underside on the lid…that would’ve been cool). The set also contains a pamphlet with a few ideas. This set can entertain a large range of ages. My mother-in-law was even building things with the boys! I appreciate toys like these to get the creativity flowing!

Building Disks by Giggle Scape are lots of fun! They come in a sturdy plastic container for easy storage. I love all the different colors and shapes of the building disks. The individual pieces are well made and durable. Some of the pieces can be a little tough to connect, but overall these building disks are fun to play with!
