Great game needs harder levels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing game. I with there was harder levels tho because my 5yr old learned on first level then did the last level. Still fun just not enough hard levels. But for kids who aren't good at puzzles or problem solving the levels in this take you slowly harder so would be great for that.

Critical Thinking for Ages 6+

Ready for some strategic game play?? iTrax is designed for ages 6 and up, and involves your thinking cap for play. There are three levels of play making it more challenging for older players. It is fast paced and very colorful play. Perfect for 2-4 players. The object of the game is to find the one path on the game card that connect two cubes, and re-create it using the correct rods and cubes. The first player to collect 7 cards wins. There are 3 levels of game play; Ace, Whiz, and Braniac It did take a bit of help from Mom to get them going on the game, but they they really enjoyed it. I love that it involves strategy and planning ahead. Great thinking skills are used. I love the compact nature of this game, allowing it to easily be brought along for playing with friends. I received a copy of this game in exchange for an honest review.

iTrax-Fun fo all ages.

Learning Resources has done it again. I am so delighted they sent me this fun game to review! They have managed to supply teachers (and moms) with a great, differentiated, educational and mostly FUN game for our kiddos. There are two things I'm always looking for as a teacher: great, independent, critical thinking activities that are engaging AND activities that are differentiated. This little game has both of those things. The set includes enough pieces for 4 players (um...three boys 5, 7 and 9 plus a 46 year old mom was perfect) and has 25 double sided playing cards in three different levels of difficulty. The object of the game is to independently reproduce the path on the card that connects one square cube to the next faster than the other players. The person that creates their path to match the card first, wins!Beyond the fact that this is an excellent critical thinking and problem solving activity, the three levels of difficulty in playing cards is really what appealed to me with this activity. It meant that not only could my 5 and 7 year olds play together and be equally challenged and engaged, but my 5 and 9 year old could also play together. It was a blast for them to have a game that they each had a fair chance of winning. Way to go Learning Resources!

Great Family Fun

The iTrax Game is an easy to learn game that takes no time to set up, play and get put away. Love this game and so does my six year old. The iTrax Game reminds me of games I play on my smartphone so I find it just as fun to play as do my kids. I love that this is a thinking game. I can see my little one's mind working away as we play. I love that there are three levels of play and that you can each play a different level in order to make the game more equal. I was provided this product in order to review it. My 4-year-old Daughter LOVES this. :)

Although iTrax is recommended for ages 6 and up, we've played this as a family with my 4-year-old and even my 2-year-old enjoys taking part (he'll build little towers or try to copy us). The game includes enough pieces for up to 4 players to play at the same time, as well as game cards with patterns that range from easy to very difficult. I gave my daughter the easiest cards to start out with but she quickly caught on and moved up through the cards. The object of the game is to find which pattern on the card is connected by the two small blocks and duplicate it exactly - it's a race to see who can duplicate their card first. The patterns are true to size so if Emma is unsure which length is correct she can lay the rod directly on the card to be sure it's the right one. When we play together my husband and I take the hardest cards and give my daughter the easier ones, we count down to 0 and then GO! It's a race to see who can find and duplicate their pattern first. It's truly a blast! I recommend this game - it has quickly become a family favorite because it is easy to pull out and play a few games then put away. Because the pieces are small, it doesn't take up too much space, either. Another plus is that it's challenging and enjoyable enough for kids to want to play by themselves. :) (This game was sent to me for review purposes.)

Such a FUN and education product!

I LOVE products that make learning fun and this one hits a home run! iTrax is a fun eye-tracking game that makes you think and problem solve. Players begin by choosing a card, finding the path that connects two cubes and then building what they see. There are 25 double-sided cards with various degrees of difficulty and 3 different levels, which makes it great for beginners and more advanced players. Each player finds the path that connects 2 cubes and begins to build. The rules are simple and the game is FUN!

Love this Game!

I was given this game to review on my blog. I definitely recommend this game, it doesn't take up a lot of game shelf space {a big plus for me}, has multi-use pieces, is simple once you read the rules, can be played quickly, and provokes deep thought!

Great Thinking Game

We received the iTrax Game. This game is geared towards ages 6 and up. It is a game that will challenge your child and make them think. The game can be played at 3 different levels too. This makes it easy for beginners and then they don't get frustrated. So how does the iTrax Game work? It has a variety of different cards and they have different levels on them. We start with the easiest level for our 6 and 7 year old and then move up as they got the hang of it. Each player gets a card. The card has a series of different shaped blocks printed on it. Each players goal is to place the actual physical block that is shown on the card on the block shown. However, the goal is to connect 2 cubes together with a series of different blocks (as shown). sample provided for review
