Not very helpful - the pieces in each circle are held together with a piece of paper. Also, all the pieces are the same color.

Great tool to for having kids learn meaning of fractions, see what specific fractions look like, construct fractions, compare fractions, learn meaning of equivalent fractions, work with mixed numbers, add and subtract fractions with like and unlike denominators, etc. pls. contact me if interested in seeing a copy of booklet I fashioned for use with this product (learning resources staff only)
