Like, but quality issues
While I really like this product, your quality control needs to improve. several of our compasses had clear plastic burrs that made them catch when they rotated.

I would by this product again
I use this for my middle school students for math and projects. Its perect because there is no sharp points so there is no safety concerns

Great Concept, but poor execution
This product is excellent for drawing circles of one-inch or greater diameter, but the small wheel at the center "hangs up." This center wheel needs to be made of a more slippery plastic, or maybe even alumnium, in order to slide properly in its' socket. Everything else about the product is excellent! It's flat and has no sharp points, so it fits into a notebook or backpack with ease. As long as you have two pencils, you may draw almost any circular shape you will need in class.

Love this compass after all these years.
I used these in High School and fell in love with them so much I asked the teacher if I could have it. I still have it to this day and now, as a working artist, I still use it to this day. They are the best compasses I have ever used. They do not loosen like the metal, pointy ones, and you can stick it in your pocket and not have to worry about piercing yourself, and if the little white wheel pops out, it snaps right back in no problem. While the radius is limited, only up to 10", I have never found this to be a problem, and I continue to use and recommend this product to others. Safe, light, reliable, affordable. What more could one want?
