Then she turned it over and we would do the same thing again but this time saying the animal and color. She would ask questions about ever detail on this toy.

My toddler is 18 months old and really enjoys playing with the Seaside Pounding Bench. The pegs are double-sided, and what makes it extra fun is that once she finishes pounding them in, we can flip the bench over and start again! It's a simple but clever design that keeps her engaged. We also use it as a chance to count together, which adds a little learning to playtime. The bright, beach-themed shapes are super cute, it feels sturdy and safe. This is such a great toy for building fine motor skills while having fun. Highly recommend for toddlers around 18+ months!

Also, I would love to see a place to store the mallet with the rest of the toy, because without a home, it will get lost. It's fun to bang on, but so are pots and pans.. i like the simplicity but it can't keep the kids' interest.

She goes back and forth between doing it with the toy hammer and with her hands. Gave this to her and kept her occupied for a good amount of time. Definitely a good developmental toy.
