Bought for my 21 month old going to school for the first time. Thought it would just have a few functions, but my 5 year old has loved using it to act out school for his brother, and its great for the little one's fine motor skills too. A unique, high quality, engaging wooden toy.

My nearly 2 year old son loves the Melissa & Doug Go Tots Schoolyard Tumble! He was interested the moment we took it out of the package and played with the toy for 30 minutes initially. There are lots of features. A "playground" with slide, teeter/totter, swing & spinner on one side and a "classroom" on the other. One of my son's favorite features is putting the people down the slide. Bonus…if you put the toy on your kitchen floor and push the round people down the slide they will roll all the way across the floor. The classroom side has a clock, numbers, shapes and colors. A very fun toy with opportunities for toddler learning! We've had the toy for a month or so and he still goes back to play with it. I personally like the carrying handle for convenience, but I wish there was some kind of storage for the wooden, round characters when not in use.

The overall design of the toy is simple. Safely is my number one concern when it come to choosing toys. I love that all the removable parts are on the larger side so I do not have to worry about my twins swallowing them. Let's face it, all children put toys in their mouth and the fact that the removable parts are solid wooden disks is awesome! I don't have to worry about oral injuries. Since there are larger they are also harder to lose. All the edges on this toy are rounded. The playground side is because they can drop the wooden disc into slots and pretend they are at a playground. One genius part of this design is on the slide portion there is a stopper so the round disks do not have to roll across your living room if you want. Like almost all Melissa and Doug toys The opposite side is a pretend classroom. It's a fun way to teach your Littles a few shapes colors and numbers. I have to give it up for the durability of this toy because my twins have put it through the ringer so far. There is a cutter at the top used for a handle and it has been carried and banged into everything in my household. After six weeks it still looks brand-new.

The Melissa and Doug GO TOTS Schoolyard Tumble toy is very fun. It has activities on both sides. There is an adorable schoolhouse side and the back is a fun playground with a slide, swing, and teeter totter. The round wooden people are durable and adorable. This toy is a hit.

My 18month old daughter just sits and plays with it for at least 15 minutes which is not normal for most toys. So I love that she loves fitting the little circle ppl into the slide and swing. And she gets excited doing it.

I typically am pretty impressed by Melissa & Doug toys and this one was no exception. My three year old and one year old instantly fell in love with playing this toy. My one year old loved that she could easily grab onto the round people tokens. My three old loved to drop them in the slots. Even my eleven year old had fun playing with the toy with the two little ones. I loved how each part did something and it kept my kids entertained for quite a while. One feature I love is that on the back side there is a little slot for each wooden token. It makes storing so easy. Plus the handle on the top makes it fairly easy for my three year to get down off the shelf. The toy itself is well made and sturdy like all of the other Melissa & Doug toys we have. I would definitely purchase this toy for a friend if they had a toddler. I think it is worth every penny!

The Melissa & Doug GO Tots Schoolyard Tumble is a nice toy for little ones. My daughter who is 13 months likes to play with it, but it doesn't keep her attention span very long. She really likes putting the people chips down the slide and also having them fall into the seesaw. She wasn't really a fan of the classroom setting. Maybe when she is a little older she will like it when she is learning colors and shapes. The toy is made very well. The wood chips are nice and fun for little one to bang together. It's also nice that this is a play right out of the box toy.

My kids were super excited to try out this toy, we don't have anything like it. I loved that it can be played with like a doll house, but it's also helping with some fine motor skills. It's a new favorite toy in our house, and like other Melissa and Doug toys it's easy on the eyes and can just sit on the shelf.

It's interactive so my child has options and the little circular chips has colors that match the areas of the tumble which makes it easier to learn her primary colors. I would recommend to family and friends.
