There's pirate treasure afoot, and it's packed with learning fun! Unlock fine motor fun and new sorting and matching skills with the Sorting Surprise Pirate Treasure from Learning Resources. Within each of this set's five numbered plastic pirate chests hides a colorful toy surprise; kids can discover a purple parrot, a green octopus, a red spyglass, and more! To capture their pirate treasure, kids must unlock each chest using the correct key; each lock features a different shape, so choose carefully! Sized for little hands, the keys help kids build coordination and other fine motor skills with every pop of their pirate chests. As they count up their new treasures, kids will also build color and shape identification skills, but that's not all—the Sorting Surprise Pirate Treasure also includes 15 colored treasure coins that add to the sorting and matching fun. Key and Lock Don't Match
The hexagon lock is missing. Instead, there are 2 square locks with one hexagon key and one square key.

A rare miss for Learning Resources
I usually love Learning Resources materials, but this one is a dud. Hard for little fingers to maneuver, and broke very easily. I am very disappointed in this product.Don't waste your money on this one.

Love it but sadly not durable for a childs toy
Our little one loves this set, he was given it at Christmas by a grandparent. Unfortunately after a handful of uses the locks were already lose and 2 broke not long after so quality was not great!

Bought 2 sets they both broke :(
I bought 2 sets for my kids and they both broke after a few times using. We have lots of learning resources toys and they're usually good quality not sure the deal with these. My kids don't even play with these alone they're something we get out special to do with them.

Great Activity, Poorly Made?
I work in pediatrics as an SLP, and my clinic absolutely adores this interactive game. However, we have sadly had to retire it as two treasure chests have already easily broke. Love this activity, but broke too easily!

Two sets purchsed, both have broken chests
Purchased two sets for a clinical setting to use in Therapy. Unfortunately both sets have a defective blue treasure chest. Key turns and turns but does not open the chest. Disappointing.

Super fun for treasure hunts
My 5 and 10 year old loved these. I stored clues in them and made a treasure hunt to find the keys and the corresponding chests - and then they've loved making their own treasure hunts with them.

Cute idea but not the greatest construction
Not really happy with construction of the treasure box. When the kids open lid too much(and they did right away)it gets stuck open and it's almost impossible to close without feeling like you are going to break it. I noticed a small notch to probably prevent it from doing that, but it didn't help. Treasure boxes are on the small size(description should really note the actual dimensions). Keyholes should be a bit deeper. 3-4 years olds had a hard time keeping key in and turning at the same time. Last note, the green box has octopus but it's a bit big to fit that and drop in coins. Overall it's cute idea but a bit in small side and don't see this holding up to 3-4 year olds rough hands.
