Farm counters
I really like these jumbo counters. They’re a good size and are hollow so they can be used as a bath toy and still be easy to clean without mold growing in them. Currently I gave my daughter one of each animal and she likes to line them up and transport them using various things(wagon, car, basket, bag, etc). I also put them in a small bag and took them along to visit family and she was able to keep herself entertained. Like I mentioned, we’re only using a few at this time but have already gotten such great use out of them! They’re gonna be great to use as actual counters once my daughter starts learning her numbers.

Wonderful idea!
The children love the bright colors and the fact that they will fit onto their finger for them to use to count is awesome.

Great Counters for Small Hands
I needed items to count in my classroom that would be safe for small children with quick hands to use in case they placed the items in their mouths! I teach preschool special education, and some of these students are delayed in language development. They do not always respond to spoken rules, and some are still putting items in the mouth. I love these farm animals to be used as counting objects so that I can teach counting skills without having to be worried about a student choking.

Jumbo Counters
I recently had the opportunity to review these super cute Jumbo Safari Counters from Learning Resources! Another great educational toy for your kiddos! Aprils Learning Resource giveaway was the New Sprouts Cure it! My Very Own Doctor Kit you can check that review out HERE! My boys really loved these Jumbo Safari Counters! You can use these toys for so many ways to learn! These little chunky animals are super cute! You can help your kiddos learn how to recognize animals, count, sort, & early math skills such as adding & subtracting! This set comes with 5 different animals & 6 bright colors! The animals this set comes with are rhino, giraffe, elephant, gorilla, & lion packed into a hefty little storage bucket! My boys really loved them! These are a good age for my 1 year old (who is almost 2) He really liked placing them on each finger & lining them up! My 2 year old was able to get the most use out of them! He enjoyed placing each of the exact animals in rows by the kind of animal or by the color! We really arent ready for the simple math yet but this toy defiantly can & will grow with age! We use this toy as a table time play. I always set aside 30 minutes of everyday to sit down with the boys and give them some table time where we interact with each other with sorting ,coloring, lacing, or read a book! This really added a fun table time activity to our little rotation!
