Learning Star Mental Math Game - Addition & Subtraction, Ages 7+

Make numbers part of playtime with HABA Learning Star: Mental Math. Designed for kids ages 7 and up, this 2-in-1 math learning game combines addition and subtraction practice with a colorful 12-point star puzzle. Start with the matching activity. Children work through math problems and find the cards showing the corresponding answers. Short, repeatable rounds provide a hands-on way to revisit addition and subtraction without relying on worksheets or screens. Then it’s time to build. Using the cards, kids assemble a colorful 12-point Learning Star for a completely different challenge with a satisfying visual finish. The match-then-build format adds variety while using the same compact set of cards. Learning Star: Mental Math can be used for independent practice, parent-child learning, tutoring sessions, homeschool math activities, or small-group classroom work. Kids can play a quick matching round when time is short or move on to constructing the complete star. For an adjustable practice session, begin with a smaller selection of problem-and-answer cards and introduce additional cards as appropriate. You can also have children solve each problem aloud before searching for its matching answer. Includes: 36 cards and 4 instruction cards.
