BIG Bulldozer!
This Bulldozer is both BIG and awesome! The intricate details in the engine - make this super cool for parents like me - and the functionality of the Bulldozer is amazing for my son! We love the construction line and couldn’t wait for this one! Can wait for the spring so we can move some mulch and/or sand around with it!

Missed opportunity
The construction excavator (60420) could arguably be considered one of the best sets of all time. Based on the strength of that build, I picked this up when I was able to find it for 40% off. I mostly buy official sets to see amazing new techniques, and they mostly deliver. This one does not - it is a very straightforward build, only a couple parts are built with studs on side and there's very little interesting geometry. There's a couple techniques that really shouldn't be used in an official set, with 2x6 plates getting stacked (difficult to disassemble later) and so many plates are overlapped to make the blade that the 2x16 plates actually warp and pull away from the Technic bricks at the edges ("brick bending"). Unbelievable to see this kind of stuff in a modern set. The play features are very basic - the front cylinders are purely for show and the blade actually falls off if you pull it down while holding the set off the ground. Why Technic axles were used instead of pins is anyone's guess. This is the weakest use of the new Technic cylinders yet, there isn't even a differential so they only move when one track moves. To the designers credit, the ripper is perfect, a clever technique is used to lock the tail fin in place, it's a good re-use of an existing tail fin part for a novel purpose, and it slides smoothly up and down. Finally, the build is just too big. I get that this is trying to model a D9 or a PR776 but even if they're big they're not **that** big, and the same play features and overall shape could have been accomplished with half the number of bricks and a model that's to scale with other city sets. The size would be forgivable if the play features were there, but the blade that falls off if you press to hard is a joke -- this is a dozer, that's its one job. Having said all that, my kid loves it, so maybe I am just old and out of touch.

Better than pictured
Lots of technic in a city set, reminiscent of a starwars set. Be careful with some layers as takes a little effort to lock all studs in place. Looks better in person and has interesting shapes. No stickers which is fantastic. Could do with a tilt function on blade and ripper for a little more playability. City construction sets are on fire at the moment 🔥 so good! And three minifigures!

Typical LEGO!
I spent quite a few hours now, watching my children and grandchildren entertain themselves playing with Lego. What they have achieved more recently, is well, outstanding! From concept to production, their ‘themed’ ranges, never stops growing and like our gift to my grandson, kits such as the Bulldozer ooze quality. The Buldozer was a Christmas gift, but I am sure that my Grandson will love it and assemble it with his usual level of ‘gusto, ‘ so he can see it in action.

A sturdy, fun, and imaginative LEGO bulldozer that
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO City Yellow Bulldozer is everything you’d expect from LEGO—fun, high-quality, and packed with creative play opportunities. The assembly process was smooth and satisfying, with clear instructions that made it easy to follow along. The material quality is excellent as always—bricks fit snugly and feel built to last. I appreciate the safety features, as the pieces are well-designed for kids 8+ without any sharp edges or flimsy parts. In terms of durability, the bulldozer holds together really well even during heavy play, with a blade and ripper that can move without falling apart. Best of all, the entertainment value is outstanding—between the working pistons, detailed engine, and the included minifigures, there’s plenty of imaginative play to keep kids (and adults) engaged. This set is a must-have for LEGO fans who love vehicles and construction themes. With 682 pieces, it feels like a rewarding build and an even better toy once it’s complete.

Amazing set, and easy to build.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Lego for free in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely loved this set! I haven’t enjoyed building something in a long time and this set brought me so much joy. It was super detailed on the inner part and it didn’t take too long to build. I was able to have fun for a few hours and finish the set! It came with a few extra pieces which I always love. It was super easy to build and the instructions were detailed and made sense. They also added a progress bar at the bottom of the instructions to see how close it is to being built. I absolutely love that new feature. Overall I had an absolute blast building this set and the quality was great. Definitely recommend.

Tons of Pieces, but Totally Worth It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LEGO set came with a lot of pieces definitely not a quick build but it turned into such a fun project for my 5-year-old and my husband. They worked on it together over a few days, and it was great seeing them problem solve and laugh through the tricky parts. The instructions were clear, and once it was finished, my kid was so proud of what they built. It’s a great mix of challenge and fun, especially if you’re looking for something that keeps little hands busy and brings out the teamwork. Just be ready to step on a few pieces along the way!

Great construction vehicle addition
Great build. Minor complaint is that you have to push down on the vehicle to get the tracks to move due to the friction of the internal engine mechanics. I ended up removing the gear to allow the tracks to move freely. Look forward to picking up a few more for my family member’s kids to build and play with!

Perfect for your building obsessed babies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids LOVE this set. They are currently obsessed with Legos and building things, which makes this addition perfect! The directions are well done, and it doesn't appear to be missing any steps. The pieces, being Legos, are small and not safe for little children or mouthers. They have had such fun with this set, and we ended up getting them the excavator, too!

Bulldozing Boredom!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bulldozer by Lego was such a fun build for my kids to build. It had 6 bags with instructions. Both of my kids enjoyed splitting the bags up and building together. It looks awesome on display and ready to work! It helped them through bouts of boredom and is really well built.
