Q: I am purchasing several "junior" sets with a Cars theme. What classic set size goes with junior sets?
A: Hello Carole, thanks for your query. The LEGO® Juniors sets are compatible with the regular LEGO bricks that you can also find in this box. Although generally speaking DUPLO bricks fit together with regular LEGO bricks as well, their compatibility is limited (depending on regular brick size, for example).
submitted byLEGO Customer Service - 8 years agoBrand expertA: These should work as long as the junior ones you purchaed are not duplo. The duplo sets are for the younger kids 2-5 and have bigger pieces. Junio sets are tegular just less complex.

Q: I'm looking for large bricks that measure approx 1 x 1"x 1/2"tall ... perfect for 2 year olds (with supervision). Is that what is in this box or are these the very small bricks?
A: The age range for these bricks is 4 years to 99. They are, indeed, smaller, "Classic" bricks.

Q: Of the 790 pieces, what is the distribution of block types? How many are (for instance) base plates, how many 4-peg blocks, 6-peg blocks, etc.? This is needed to know what else I should add.

Q: How much space do the 790 pieces take in the box? Is it halfway full? More than half? Less than half? I wanted to buy another classic Lego set that comes in a cardboard box and add it to this sets plastic box.

Q: Does this set include the same bricks as in the LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box? Or, completely different bricks?
A: Hello there, Set 10698/Large Creative Brick Box has 790 pieces. There's 33 colors that includes 8 different types of windows and doors, 2 green baseplates along with 6 tires and wheel rims. The smaller set 10696/Medium Creative Brick Box has 484 pieces. There's 35 colors and includes windows, eyes, 18 tires and wheel rims, a green baseplate and more.
