    Fun functional Lego set

    Really fun mechanism and building techniques in this set. The play features of releasing a barrel (sometimes two) and letting Mario jump are super satisfying. Plus, it's awesome to look at the back and see how everything operates (e.g. where the barrels go and how they get released). I will say that it's important to double check the placements of every brick and trust the process. Some placements only made sense when I completed the rest of the build, as you do a lot in the beginning, build up the whole cabinet, and then finish it off. If you're a stud off with some stuff in the beginning it could be hard to disassemble and correct once you've realized it. All in all, great build and great play experience. I know the price to piece ratio is not good, and I wish it were a bit cheaper, but honestly the whole package makes up for it a lot. Would definitely recommend if it fits your budget.

    Nice set and very creating design

    The Donkey Kong Arcade is very good. I like how it is designed to allow the arcade to be more playable (compared to the Pac-Man LEGO set). I always wonder how they can make the barrels drop continuously. I enjoy exploring the design while I am building it. Although it costs relatively more per bricks, I think this set is worth getting if you are a LEGO arcade fans or Donkey Kong fans.

    DK, Donkey Kong!

    This is a very good build! It was a very fun build through with every bag being different from the last. The playability of this set sets it apart from all of the other sets. Being able to actually jump over the barrels is a very cool feature. It is a very polished build from the front, and not so much in the back. (But who looks at the back anyways) I would definitely recommend this build to any builder beginner to advanced. The art work in the stickers is very neat. This is definitely a 10/10 build from the inside out.

    Keep the Arcade sets comin'!

    This is a very fun build, and a beautiful companion piece to the Pac-Man Arcade! The price is a bit atrocious for the number of pieces and exposed mechanics in the back (perhaps a couple hundred more pieces to make it a "closed cabinet" design would make the price fully worth it... maybe even an included minifigure-scaled Arcade Set, á la Pac-Man). But all-in-all, the inner-workings, the mechanics, the playability... makes this an exceptional set, and I pray they introduce more classic arcade game sets!!

    First of all, I’d like to say that this kit was an amazing building experience. The box look great, all bags were available, the manual was easy to follow and the final product look great. The functionality brought back memories of my childhood. The only downside would be if some sound would have been added. Other than that, the design team nailed this one!!

    One of my favorite builds!

    This was such a fun set to build. At no point did it feel overly repetitive, and I loved how simple building the mechanics were to create a perpetual barrel-throwing machine! It looks amazing next to my Pac-Man arcade cabinet. Please keep making more interactive arcade cabinets!

    So many stickers!

    I was so excited when early images of this set leaked but when I saw that it was full of stickers rather than prints given the high high price I was incredibly disappointed.

    Consumer of my quarters

    Best build yet, brought me back to my summers as a kid dropping quoters trying to jump barrels and beat the monkey.. Highly recommend.

    A MONKE!!!🦍🍌

    Donkey Kong is my idol and inspiration for gaming and I remember when I was younger I tried building a Donkey Kong model of the first level from the arcade game and using a Gorilla Grodd big fig and made a Pauline and Jumpman minifigure for it. Now to have a Donkey Kong arcade set just felt like my childhood wish has been finally granted and I am truly blessed.☺️
