Worst set ever
I was so excited to get this set. I built it a while ago, and it was interesting to build at the time. However, the connections for the different parts are so flimsy, that if you move this set, even just a little, be prepared to have to rebuild entire sections! It comes apart so easily, and has fallen to the floor multiple times. I finally got sick of rebuilding it, so I’m taking it apart and using it for parts. Lots of pieces for the price - but beware! Most pieces are 1x1. Would be a cool little set of it were sturdier.

Fun mini set
I'd been eyeing the large diagon alley set, but decided on this one since I'm running out of shelf space; it did not disappoint. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. Building each "block" and then watching it all come together was really rewarding.

So much detail added to the scale of the the Diagon Alley Wizarding shops. So much easier for me to show off this amazing set along with the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds. I hope to see more microscale builds in the future.

Okay, but flimsy and finicky
While you can see this is 3 parts, in reality, it's 5. The side "wings" come apart into two sections each and do not stay together at all. It's really disappointing because it makes it a bit harder to create the "alley" when trying to show/share the build - I want to be able to "swing" the build into place. Instead, I'm Tetris-ing the 5 sections into align. Also, the building DOESN'T swing at all. The two side wings fully detach (all 5 sections detach, actually), and then re-"click" into place (but again, those attachment points are awful and the really just hang out in-place. Truthfully, I asked for this specifically as it's the same scale as my Hogwarts Castle (#71043) as a gift and my family kindly gifted it to me. However, I wish I hadn't gotten it. At the micro-figure scale, you really lose all those amazing details that make Lego Builds so fun. Stick to the larger, traditional Mini-Fig scale, even if it means more builds in the long run. I wish I had.

I bought this micro set for my bestfriend and she absolutely LOVES it. She’s a huge HP fan and she’s having the best time building Diagon Alley! Just keep in mind that it’s a micro scale set with lots of bags and tiny pieces! :)

Brilliant Present
My daughter was so excited when she opened Hogwarts Diagon Alley on her birthday. She has completed other Harry Potter LEGO Sets and this will add to her collection. It is good that it’s packaged in different packs and easy to follow instructions. She hasn’t finished building it, but it will be a lovely project to do during the summer holidays.

Missing bags
the set came with one bag duplicated and missing another bag entirely. I now have to go through lego in order to get the bag which is annoying when you are in the middle of a build. For the amount you pay the item should be packaged correctly.

Missing Several Pieces
There have been sets that I’ve built that have had a piece or two missing in the past, but this one is a little ridiculous. My build has come to a complete standstill because I don’t have the parts to build the base for structure 5. Not to mention missing parts to finish structure 3. I’m sure plenty of others have had much better luck with their sets, but I can’t in good conscience recommend spending money on this one.

Brilliant detailed microlego for harry potter fans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg was so excited to recieve this! Didn't realise until it arrived that it was microlego didn't even realise that was a thing, the lego has all the shops and the detail is amazing couldn't believe how many figures there were and the attention to detail, enjoyed putting it together but it was quite fiddly to make but still really fun! I think the price point is accurate for the level of detail and accuracy and quality that's gone into it! Bit of a nightmare if you havnt got a area to put it if you've got small kids like me as the pieces are very tiny and could be dangerous but thats an owners issue not a fault with lego itself :) defo would recommend this to any harry potter fan would make a brilliant gift or present for someone 😍 so greatful to have had the chance to try this as it's not something I'd have money to just buy myself :)
