My husband and I bought this set for our then 4yo son to start a lego Christmas village. Said 4 (now 5)yo has built the Home Alone set completely by himself so this was an easy build for him BUT we have built it two years in a row and absolutely love all the details in it. My son loves playing with it and moving the characters around. It's such a sweet and idyllic little village; I just wish there were a few more shops to put with it! I do find the roof excruciatingly frustrating to get onto the buildings, but otherwise it's so much fun that I have actually taken the set apart at night and rebuilt it by myself. Highly recommend this set! I do find it a bit pricey, but then, all lego has increased in price too much IMO. It's still an excellent set.

Bought this for my gf for Xmas 2022, she loves Harry Potter, anything Christmassy, and is starting to get into Lego due to my interest in it. She hinted that she'd like this, so was happy to get her it. As she starts to build, it becomes apparent the doorway to Honeydukes (6342692) is scratched, possibly from the manufacturing process, and a part for the chimney is missing (6222362). Onto the second building and there is several missing pieces; 5 window panes (6278710) are missing for the window frames, and 1 white piece that creates the snow (4547489). She was gutted. So I go to order the missing pieces and I can't order them all, I am limited to only one window pane (6278710), because the set is listed as only having one. Looking at the building instructions, it shows several window panes (6278710) being used, but only lists one in the pieces list. This is a great set, but the building and playing experience has been ruined. Please can Lego sort the amount of pieces out so I can order the correct amount, thank you.

This item was a gift from Santa. Unfortunately, the items had been opened and returned as seen in the taped up bags and glued box, as well as a few missing pieces from each bag. I was able to find the missing pieces from our own Lego collection because Santa needed some redeeming. Very disappointing coming from a reputable business like Target.

I had such an issue with the roofs for this set. I kept accidentally destroying parts of the build while trying to get the roofs on. It started to make it less fun and more irritating. I was finally able to finish, but had to walk away a couple times.

A must have for Harry Potter fans, this set does justice to the two buildings represented. The build experience is interesting, never dull or repetitive. However, the roof of the Three Broomsticks was a challenge for my old fingers! I slightly modified the build by using 2 studs to fit the triangles at the top so the roof parts could sit flat. I’m not a great fan of using panels for walls although they enable details to be added. For the pub I replaced the panels with brick built walls and added windows to make the lower floor a bit lighter. The minifigures are terrific, but a Cornelius Fudge would be nice, after all he had a fondness for Madam Rosmerta. Honeydukes is great with all the details of the sweet treats on offer and I love the colour of the bricks. There’s enough space in the model to recreate scenes from the films and I’m enjoying creating a snowy scene around the buildings. Well done Lego for this set.

I bought this set for my wife and son who love Lego. It was such a fun build that I bought myself two more sets and with instructions from Rebrickable made two different buildings to include in the village. It was so much fun and I love the display. I would love to get more buildings from Lego to incorporate into the village. For now trying to link the village with The Shrieking Shack.

Ok right, so this set is amazingly detailed and beautiful. Great build experience. Downside is that all of Hogsmeade isn't represented in this set. We need an add on expansion set that completes Hogsmeade Village, including a new Shrieking Shack!! Please make the rest of the village! I would definitely recommend this to any Harry Potter fan!! Adults included!!
