Love all the intricate details, accessories, and mini figs in this set! Overall it was such a fun build, though the roof was a bit wonky on the Three Broomsticks. But we got there and love to play with it with my kiddos and love to see it displayed!

I bought this on sale to use for my Christmas winter village, but if I had known there was a number of stickers I may not have purchased it. I'm not a fan of stickers and only messed one up, but it's a 'wanted poster' so being slightly at an angle seems more natural anyway. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

These were quick and simple builds that ultimately look like charming winter buildings. Building the roofline and facades on each structure was much simpler than on some builds that have appeared in the Winter Village line (here's looking at you gingerbread cottage -_-). This set is sturdy, attractive, and full of charming details. I enjoyed the Sirius wanted poster. I do wish that the minifigures were more detailed and unique to this set. I enjoy Harry Potter, but saw this on sale and bought it primarily to compliment my winter/Christmas builds. Overall, it is a good addition to the collection, both aesthetically and for the price.

The build and details are fun but the stickers for Honeydukes are awful - they are more transparent than pink and really takes away from the look and feel of the building.

This set brought back memories of my last visit to Universal Studio prior to the pandemic. I so enjoyed the candy store and ate at the Three Broomsticks several times on that five day trip. It would be nice if LEGO would rethink the set up on the roof attachments that require too much force to easily connect. Very cute! It has been fun to play with as there are 7 minifigures including a golden Ron! Loved it.

This is a beautiful set to look at. And together with the advent calendar pieces it is a lovely winter addition to our big Hogwarts Castle. However, its only pros are the looks. This set was the least enjoyable to built so far. The lower half of the buildings were fine. But the top part lead to a lot of frustration in both houses. The roof in particular was difficult to connect and when pressure was applied the wrong way it would lead to half the house falling apart. Even after multiple adjustments, small gaps where bricks wouldn’t connect fully remained. We took the set apart and rebuilt it to add lights (not LEGO branded) and encountered the same problems all over again. The only advantage here is that the wiring for the lights usually leads to small gaps but since they are already present in the set, the extra ones for the wiring evened things out. Whilst we will keep the set as a decoration piece it works for our purposes and we would recommend it if you want it for decor and have a high frustration tolerance. But in our eyes this is not suitable for a person who wishes to play with it or gets frustrated when things break and aren’t perfect.
