Disappointed 😞
Looks lovely, colourful. There it ends. Overall size is small and lacks detail. I am very disappointed.

A fun and quirky building experience
I absolutely love this set. It is such a staple moment in the film, so to have it brought to life by Lego is amazing. I am a sucker for small details and Easter eggs. Willy’s office and the edible wallpaper is so great. I like the little door in the rock wall that the Oompa Loompas disappear into. Building the candy and plants was so fun. Especially when they all came together. Overall, just a great piece and I love being able to display it.

Missed Opportunity
Everything was great until I reached halfway and then it felt like Lego ran out of bricks to finish things off. Felt the second side of the build could have had a few more lolly plants added. And my pet hate (Still morning no Kevin in the Up set) is the lack of realistic numbers of minifigures. Should have been at least 5 Oompa Loompas and where did all the other parents go? Should have been a little bigger so that more detail could have been added to the boat and the set overall. My instruction manual was also damaged as it was only halfway in the envelope with the envelope glue sealed onto the book itself.

Really Wonderful
I love legos and I love memories from my childhood. Put them together and I’m in heaven. This was a very easy build. So easy that my 6 year old daughter helped me put it together. We had a joy building it and listening to the original soundtrack while doing it. It really does create a pure imagination.

Fun build
This was a fun build, until I got to the boat the front wouldn't stay together but I just put in the spot and left it there. I really liked all the different colors and the way you made it look like everything was coming to life.

Not my favorite
I agree with other reviews on size being good for display, and will acknowledge that the Easter eggs are nice. I also commend the design of the chocolate waterfall. But on the whole this has let me down and wasn’t nearly as fun to build as I expected.

Finally Wonka!!
As soon as I saw this piece coming out , I knew I wanted it. It was a very neat build. It took me a couple days to complete it. It was a fun to see the easter eggs and the detail that was put into it. I love all 9 little characters. Very cool build.

Great gift
My 13 year old grandson loves building the adult kits. Last Christmas we got him the Home Alone house. He was done with it before vacation ended. He wanted this kit so bad because in his middle school last year he got to play Charlie Buckett.So his grandparents decided to surprise him for his birthday.
