I love these starter legos that are marked 4+. The directions are very clear and slow so that a small child can follow along easily. They're compatible with 'regular' legos, unlike duplo obviously, so I don't feel like my kid will only play with these for a year before growing out of them. Some of the pieces are larger than standard legos normally, like the Spidey car has a base piece that would be several pieces in a standard set, so an older child might find these boring to put together (comparatively).

This is a good beginner set for a four year old. However, there are very small pieces that present a choking hazard if there are any siblings that will put them in their mouths.

This is such a good toy to gift for any celebrations like birthdays or Christmas. Boy we bought it for was sooo happy. Definitely some small pieces so would not recommend for any kids who have a habit of putting things in their mouth or losing small pieces. So cute and charming otherwise

Really Target you can’t take the time to make sure your items are packaged with care? I know it’s in a box within a box but it was smushed. I think with consumers spending their money that you would take appropriate time and measure to make sure the items are packaged properly especially during the holidays. Not opening the actual product until Christmas morning so HOPEFULLY the item inside is okay

This was my 5-year-old's first LEGO kit after having played with DUPLO for several years. She was able to follow the instructions by herself and build the kit. She likes to play with it, un-build it, then re-build it. Bonus is that she's a HUGE fan of "Spidey and his Amazing Friends!"

I was very disappointed. This item is a gift and looks like it was run over by a cart! The box was all crumpled and there's no way I can give this to anyone. Now, I will have to take the time (which I don't have) to return it! The rest of my items arrived fine.
