The fun starts on December 1 when builders open the first of 24 doors to discover their first surprise, and continues long after the last door has been opened. Builders will uncover 8 minifigures as they countdown to Christmas: Alex wearing a Creeper sweater; Steve wearing a snowman sweater and diamond helmet and holding a pickaxe; a Creeper by a sweet berry bush; a drowned with a trident; a stray with diamond armor; a snow golem; a zombie with an enchanted axe; and a Santa villager with a furnace. There are also lots of small building toys and cool accessories that kids will recognize from the popular game. As the big day approaches, kids can combine the gifts to create a Minecraft micro winter village set and use the included fold-out playmat to provide the perfect backdrop! A fantastic start for the theme
I've had a couple of sets from this theme before and loved them. This set encapsulates the theme perfectly and provides plenty of assets to add to anyone's Lego Minecraft collection. Additionally, this set not only provides some new and fun Christmas printed pieces but also brings back some parts that have been missing in action since the theme's beginnings. I could not reccomend this advent calendar enough!

Great advent calendar
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is going to love this! The package is super simple, you just fold down the front cover and it reveals the advent calendar. Each day will allow him to build a small Minecraft character or item and play with them on the fold out play area. It is a great way to help creativity and avoid overloading with sugar each day.
