This LEGO Minecraft Overworld Adventures Pack (66779) takes Minecraft players ages 8 and up into 3 different locations that can be combined and customized to create endless play scenarios featuring an iconic cast of popular characters from the game. Exclusively available from Target, this Minecraft toy construction set multipack for gamers brings together 3 LEGO Minecraft building sets. First, there’s The Creeper Ambush (21177), where kids can get creative with iron ore at the crafting table, care for animals and battle an Exploding Creeper, which detonates when kids push a special brick. Second, there’s The Fox Lodge (21178), featuring a furnished house designed like a sleeping fox, plus animals to care for, fish to catch and an enemy to battle. Third, there’s The Coral Reef (21164), where kids can play together and search beneath an adventure-packed ocean for hidden treasure. For added digital fun, builders can zoom in, rotate sets in 3D and track progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app.

My son received this for his 5th birthday. He loves it! He needed some help assembling the legos, but his uncles were eager to give him a hand and they bonded over their shared love of Minecraft. The Fox Lodge Lego set is around $20 on its own. It was well worth buying this multi-set instead of getting some individual kits. The pieces are really fun! My son has already begun using them in different Lego sets. The three different sets are also individually boxed inside of the larger 3-in-1 box. If you need to split up the Lego sets for different kids or different occasions, it's easy to do so. Had I known this beforehand, I might have wrapped them individually.
