Description
The Badlands Mineshaft (21263) building set is a hands-on video game toy for Minecraft players. This versatile mining exploration set for kids features popular Minecraft minifigures and mob characters and makes a great birthday gift for boys and girls ages 8 and up who enjoy adventure filled building brick toys. Kids join the Badlands Explorer in an abandoned mine in the Badlands biome, where they place TNT among the stone and operate an explode function to reveal copper, gold, redstone and amethyst crystals. They load up a minecart and head down the track to exit the mine. From there, they travel by donkey (complete with large saddlebags) to the Explorer’s base, with its bed and crafting equipment. Hostile mobs that must be battled along the way include a Minecraft toy cave spider, Creeper, husk and 2 slimes. For added digital fun, builders can zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track their progress using the fun, intuitive LEGO Builder app. Contains 538 pieces.

The LEGO set was fun to build. Love the purple crystals. (Pls Add more in future sets!) I love how many characters you get in this set. With all the characters, I do feel like all the characters look cramped in the build, but hey, it’s worth it!

Does not Disappoint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddo was very excited about this Lego set. I do not know much about Minecraft but he said the pieces were “really good ones”. As usual, the Lego instructions were easy to follow. The pieces are excellent quality (no jagged or faded ones, none missing), and I had one very happy kid. Lego does not disappoint!

Perfect gift for a Minecraft fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fairly large Minecraft set. I had my 7-year-old build it all by himself. We started this on a school night and he completed after a couple days. He absolutely loved it! It kept him busy, entertained, and gave him creative play. He loved it so much, he asked his grandma who called him from the LEGO store for more Minecraft sets. I would 100% gift this set to a kid who loves Minecraft and LEGO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 boys (5 and 7) and I had a lot of fun putting this together and they are enjoying it even more now that it’s done! The pieces are small so it’s definitely for 5 and up, minimum. It’s durable set, just keep in mind they are legos. Younger children should be watched due to choking hazard.

A Lot of Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved putting this Lego set together. It has slightly over 500 pieces to it. It took me approximately 3 hours to complete the set. I really like the end product. The Minecraft design looks great when put together. It has a great building and many awesome details in the building. One of my favorite things about building it was seeing the cart path come together. I liked all the Minecraft characters that filled up the building also. The instructions were clear and precise, and they made it very easy to put the set together. You get to build several different types of things, from the building itself to the characters and a cart with gold in it. It was a lot of fun putting this together and will entertain you or your child for a while.
