The QR code on the instruction book wouldn't scan, but otherwise it was fun to build and okay with my kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn’t picked up a Ninjago set since 2016. The theme has changed quite dramatically, since then. I put this together in about ten minutes. The mini figures are both average, but still detailed well for a small set. The bone warrior is my favorite of the two. I would give the bone warrior 7.5/10 because of the unique helmet and the overall outfit is fantastic. Lloyd’s design looks spectacular just I prefer the warrior instead. The different greens, details and face prints make Lloyd a 7/10. Both figures are great, I just think larger sets tend to have better figures in design. The set itself is simple and makes great usage of large pieces. This would be the bike and the main archway of the set. The building shoots discs which provide a great playable feature for defense. The bike rolls quite far when given even just a small boost forwards or backwards. This makes a quick escape for Lloyd. A solid set, I would more recommend it to young folk as it’s not complicated to put together and uses larger pieces.

My four year old really enjoyed playing with this set, both after building and in the weeks that followed. The shrine(?) shoots little discs which he thought was a lot of fun, and he thinks the motorcycle is neat looking. Quick build, even for a toddler.
