All the thrills of Formula 1 racing await boys and girls ages 10 and up in this incredible LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari SF-24 F1 Race Car (77242) and driver set. The Ferrari toy vehicle features details from the real-life car that competed in the 2024 Formula 1 season, and kids and adult car collectors can build, display and race with it. The F1 model car features a cockpit that opens by lifting the halo bar, a rear wing, wishbone suspension, sponsor stickers and wider rear tires imprinted with “Pirelli.” The F1 race car also comes with a driver minifigure wearing a Ferrari outfit and a winged helmet to place inside the cockpit and stage races. LEGO Speed Champions sets let racing fans build models of some of the world’s most iconic vehicles, including other Formula 1 cars (sold separately) from the 2024 championship season. Great collectors piece
Im a huge f1 fan and already have a redbull lego car. Got a Ferrari one recently and built it with my flat mate. Great way to spend a random Wednesday evening. Will definitely be getting more cars

Amazing for any fan of Lego and F1
I started out by buying one of the Speed Champions Lego F1 cars and ended up slowly collecting them all. The build once again was unique enough to make the experience fun. The small stickers can be a bit annoying to place correctly but a great buy for any Ferrari fan

Overpriced but still fun.
On the good notes, it's a detailed F1 car with details and livery added faithfully to replicate the iconic Ferrari car for the 2025 season. On the downside, it's still feels like a 20 dollar set that's been marked up and fitted with more stickers than the new price should warrant. Seriously, there's a ton of stickers everywhere and they require careful installation. The build is small for the average set of this new price. Overall it's a fun set but I feel people are getting it for the F1 hype more so than the play and value for money one would expect from Lego.

Great race car from Lego
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a great product by Lego! We really enjoyed building this as a family and found the instructions and individual wrapped bags so helpful and easy to follow. There are many small pieces so we only opened one bag at a time so we could keep track of all the small parts and keep them away from tiny fingers and mouths! All in all, great product and one the kids have really enjoyed helping build and play with.

Unique build
Thought the build was great and really fun. Used techniques that I haven’t seen before. I have made two of the 2024 F1 sets and the builds vary making them feel very different. Thought the McLaren was a slightly better build than the Ferrari but both are great.

It has a lot of cool details like the engine and suspension, and it actually feels like a mini version of a real Formula 1 car. The instructions are easy to follow, and the whole process is really satisfying if you enjoy putting things together. Just a heads-up: there are a lot of small pieces, so it’s not suitable for young kids without supervision. But for older kids, teens, and adults, it’s a safe, fun, and rewarding project—especially for anyone who loves racing.

Excellent Build!
I love the F1 speed champions series and the Ferrari in particular, its iconic red colouring is captured superbly and its details are excellent. It’s such a lovely build and I found it really easy as ever to follow the instructions. Some of the stickers are really small and can be a bit fiddly but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of building at all.

Perfect pastime for a newbie!
Although an adult I had my first attempt at building a Lego Technic model: The dazzling looking F1 Lego Ferrari. I can’t deny, I found all the little pieces and thick instruction manual a little overwhelming at first. However, with the aid of an experienced enthusiast the whole experience was a breeze although there was the odd tricky puzzle piece to solve. I found the magnified diagrams on each page together with the pieces I would need for each step particularly helpful and felt a real sense of achievement when it was completed, even though it is aimed at 10+ and I am in my sixties! My tips for a newbie would be to take your time, ensure each step is completed correctly and take breaks to avoid eye strain. I now feel more confident in building future models with my grandchildren. I felt a great achievement when I saw the final result and particularly loved the little Lego man model.

It is only 275 pieces, but the process of building was very fun and I think it turned out great. The stickers get a little annoying but there weren’t too many and without the stickers they wouldn’t have looked as good. I’m very happy with this set!
