As a huge droid fan, I make it a point to grab anything new that gets released—and when I saw Chopper available for preorder, it was an instant must-have. The build was a lot of fun, and while he’s smaller than I expected, he fits perfectly into my collection alongside all my other droids and ships. LEGO has truly outdone themselves once again. I highly recommend picking up this little guy!
Cute but not worth the price!

Cute droid build but it’s not worth the $100 price tag! I have the original R2D2, BD-1, and BB-8 droid sets and those are worth their price and medium level difficulty. R2D2 is definitely the most difficult of the droid series. As pictured, you can see Chopper is slightly smaller than the BB-8 droid when built. It would be a great starter droid set if you’re looking for one to start your skills building the Star Wars droids. I just can’t justify fully recommending this set to pick up if you already own the other droid sets. I love Lego, but this set should be priced around $50-60. It would be worth the $100 price if it was 2x bigger with a more complicated build design.
Fun build

Nice little project. Even putting it away and doing other things it only took two days. I’d say if you built it all at once, I’d say 2-3 hours.

Build was fun to put together and the head and arms give Chopper his signature personality. I changed the "eyes" to blue to make him more like the Rebels version (wasn't a fan of the Ahsoka series). Makes a great trio with C3-P0 and R2-D2
Awesome

I am amazed at how good this set is. Chopper made his first appearance in Rebels back in the 20 teens and then in Ahoska a couple years ago and this Lego Star Wars set is just as amazing as either of those appearances. It's well designed, sturdy and to exactly the right scale. I did a short on my YouTube channel @goodlifebricks and compared the relative sizes of the three buildable droids that we've got to date. I think they fit together perfectly. Now, we desperately need a BB-8.
Great addition to the collection

I love building droids so as soon as I saw chopper was releasing I had to get him. The articulation in the arms are really nice. Head movements are show accurate. I’d recommend buying
