A great addition to the series of droid sets. The build was very good. The only criticism is the yellow stripe that is behind one of its "eyes " extends too far up the front. Luckily there was a spare orange one, which was swapped. This simple change makes it more accurate.
A must for any Star Wars fan

This set was really enjoyable to build. The build process was similar to the R2-D2 set from last year so there were no problems building it. The set is well constructed and it looks really good next to my other droid sets. The instructions were easy to follow and I really enjoyed building it
Good for keeping ones fingers loose

I enjoy sets like this that allow me to flex my fingers in building sets and loose. Good mixture of small to large parts.

I love Star Wars and Chopper is my favorite droid. I was so excited when Lego released this set that I pre-ordered no questions asked. I love the set and he looks great, but it’s a giant step down from the previously released R2-D2 model (both in size and playability). I would have happily paid more for them to do Chop justice.

I’ve started collecting all of the StarWars droids. Seeing how the internal structure was designed was really cool.

I am a collector of all Star Wars droid LEGO sets, my two favorite droids in the franchise are R2D2 and Chopper. This set is an amazing replica and was a very fun build. I just wish there will be a larger option like R2D2 had before the smaller cheaper set came out last year.
Chopper is the best!

As a huge droid fan, I make it a point to grab anything new that gets released—and when I saw Chopper available for preorder, it was an instant must-have. The build was a lot of fun, and while he’s smaller than I expected, he fits perfectly into my collection alongside all my other droids and ships. LEGO has truly outdone themselves once again. I highly recommend picking up this little guy!
Cute but not worth the price!

Cute droid build but it’s not worth the $100 price tag! I have the original R2D2, BD-1, and BB-8 droid sets and those are worth their price and medium level difficulty. R2D2 is definitely the most difficult of the droid series. As pictured, you can see Chopper is slightly smaller than the BB-8 droid when built. It would be a great starter droid set if you’re looking for one to start your skills building the Star Wars droids. I just can’t justify fully recommending this set to pick up if you already own the other droid sets. I love Lego, but this set should be priced around $50-60. It would be worth the $100 price if it was 2x bigger with a more complicated build design.

Nice little project. Even putting it away and doing other things it only took two days. I’d say if you built it all at once, I’d say 2-3 hours.
