Its been 16 years...

last v19 retired in 2009... and I think this set does a really good job as a successor. Its small, so it sucks it doesnt have those cool 2009 features, yet it is a clean build with great minifigs and its closer to minifig scale (maybe idk). I highly recommend this set for 50ish dollars, or play the long game and maybe get it for ~40. Dont pay $65 for it.

Actually worth the price.

I’m gonna be honest, I was impressed by how good this set is, especially considering it’s one of the only sets from this year that’s worth the price. The build is a little small and the landing mode looks kinda weird, but the Torrent overall looks really nice. I do wish it had the automated mode shift the 2008 version had, but I’ll take the higher detail of this one over that any day. Even the minifigures, which have been super hit or miss this year, all look really good, especially that Obi-Wan. It also makes me so happy to finally have an accurate P1 Clone Pilot and a new Ventress. It’s not a perfect set, but for a 2025 Star Wars set, a good set at a good price is incredibly welcome.

My campaign against abusing lego

Listen, everyone is giving this set flack, and yes, it is overpriced, yes, it doesn't have landing gear, yes the printing on the clone is inaccurate, but guys think, we have a new v-19, it has an assaj ventures from season one that we have never seen before, and it finally has a really good obi wan, and im not saying the pilot is good, but would you rather have that pilot, or the ones we had before, this one is so much better, and we have a realistically scaled v-19, and it has a yellow cockpit, honestly, its the cleanest set all year, but the other ones are super under appreciated as well

Experience need

Depending on the skill level of yourself/ the person receiving the set i was certainly surprised with the levels of the techniques been used i think this might be down to how small the ship is it definitely has swoosh ability

wow

this set is so good, people only say this set is bad because it came from the august wave, while a little bit overpriced, just wait for a sale, besides, you only buy it once, then you own the set, the minifigures are perfect and the starfighter itself is both accurate, and fun! GREAT WORK LEGO!!!

V19

My kid says: This set is fun to play with and figs are perfect. It's nice to see v19 set again. I feel that it is a good for the money value. I also like that this one is more accurate design to the real one in the movie from epi 2 attack of the clones.

C’mon Lego

Halfway through building this set and already 2 pieces that were absolutely not included in the bags, this set is great, but Lego really needs to step up their game for this amount of money.

Best of the summer wave, but not saying much

The V-19, whilst in flight mode looks great. It's somewhat sleek, the studshooters aren't super visible, and the fins looks nice. However when landed it is somewhat bulky looking, and it lacks the play feature of having all the wings come down at once like the 2008 model. The highlight of the set is definitely the minifigures, it's always good to get an early clone wars set. Obi-Wan Kenobi is the best version of the character, and one of the best figures in recent years. The clone pilot is also amazing, and long overdue. Ventress would've been better if the gave her a printed dress piece instead of legs, but still a solid figure that we haven't gotten in a long time. Yes, the price isn't great, but it's not so bad considering the other sets in the wave.

Solid Build

I like this set a lot. The price is mehhhh. However, I think these are some of the best minifigures that have come out in the last 1-2 years. The details on the asajj ventress make it one of the most accurate ones yet. I love the arm printing on the Obi-wan along with his legs. I just wish they were dual molded. If asajj and obi-wan's legs were dual molded, I believe that this set would have been priced really well. Also, we finally have a real molded phase 1 clone pilot helmet, and I love the design of it. Also, this set is build really well and sturdy, unlike the new "turbo tank". The V-19 is super fun to fly around, and doesn't crumble like the "turbo tank". Overall, great set.

Decent set

I think the set is much better, than how it is rated. I get the mixed feelings that fans have, don't get me wrong, these new wave sets are really overpriced. However, I think this set is great even compared to the earlier ARC-170. The design, the new figures are amazing, and it has a nice play peature, and it is sturdy. One downside is the lack in folding mechanism that the previous model had. It would have been so much better with that. Otherwise i think its a great set overall.

Fun build and reminds of childhood

Bought this set feeling nostologic and had a blast. Great build. Love the figs. Just feels a little small though that may be cause I am older since I played with the first one. Either way its a good set.

Mostly good

This set does a lot of things quite well, and a couple things extremely poorly. The new helmet mould is excellent, and at last we can have actual, accurate clone pilots rather than commanders doubling as them or pilots with finned helmets. Ventress is a superb figure, as is Kenobi, although as both would have benefitted from dual-moulded legs they cannot be described as perfect. The actual model is good but suffers from downsizing in that is appears chunky and the wings are too thick; however in this particular case it is an acceptable compromise. My biggest gripe by far with this set is the price, which is extortionate and completely unreasonable. My other issue is the printing on the clone pilot helmet: the yellow stripe should extend all the way to the back, yet terminates barely above his forehead. TLG has the ability to print this properly as demonstrated by countless other helmets through the years; their excuse that they can’t is frankly pathetic and the fact they’ve convinced so many of us to buy into that delusion is a testament to how much control they have over the media. Let’s stick to facts: they can print this helmet properly. They choose not to. They feel the need to line their pockets with an extra fraction of a dollar per set rather than give us quality minifigures. Until this money grabbing attitude changes, I will continue to say this, because it is true beyond all doubt: LEGO no longer cares about its customers, just their bank accounts.

Beautiful set

I was so excited for the release of this model, and it’s beautiful in hand. Great value and very sturdy. Huge improvement over the 2008 model
