Each car toy can drift or fire shells, just like in the game! The Badwagon features a detachable glider that also fits on the Teddy Buggy, so racers can take their high-speed chases to the sky with either vehicle. Kids can place LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi, or LEGO Peach figures (from sets 71439, 71440, 71441 or 72043 – each sold separately) in either kart to trigger authentic Mario Kart sound and visual effects for honking, drifting, and gliding that recreate the thrill of the game. Good but one flaw.
I love this set. I think it is cool. The Wario figure is amazing. I am just disappointed with the Wario tile. It is basically Double Dash with Wario but his sounds are through Mario. I wish Wario were an interactive figure instead of re-releasing Mario. That is stupid.

o v e r p r i c e d like all other Lego sets.
Can we be real for once?! When 90% of your reviews are part of a promotion, that's code for people were given this set for free to give a positive rating. FIFTY DOLLARS for a set that should realistically be $20. That's what you're getting if you buy this. I sound angry, I know. That's because I am. I'm so sick of LEGO pricing. $50 so my kid can build this, then drop it, then cry over a missing piece that will undoubtedly be found in the dead of night by my bare feet. Can we all, as LEGO purchasers, collectively unite and say we're done buying things like this until prices are dropped to a reasonable amount?! Gah.

A super fun set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was THRILLED to get this Lego set with Wario & King Boo! The packaging was enticing with dynamic and colorful images, and Mario Kart gives me such nostalgic vibes thinking back to my childhood. Once opened, the individual packages were clearly labeled and numbered with specific instructions. I’m in the process of taking a few afternoons to build this project ~ it’s part of my practice of slow, intentional time, using my hands without screens. The pieces are extremely durable, safe to handle, and easily stackable. I’m having so much fun building it, and I can’t wait to explore even more Lego projects. I would absolutely recommend to my friends and family.

Had fun building this with my Grandson
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit when I saw 512 pieces I was questioning if I could pull it off! I did have my 8 yr old Grandson help me so I will say together we figured it out. I do believe the age is appropriate on box. We got tripped up a few times & had to redo a few steps but we finished all the pieces! The only thing I did not like was the 2 small, red pieces that were meant to be tail lights did not click into place so I had to glue them on for them to stay. Maybe I got a few faulty pieces? Other than that, it was fun building these! I can see why people love LEGO! Loved all the cute details! It was great receiving this to review & would definitely do it again!

Easy and fun

Fun time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had fun putting this Lego Mario Kart-Wario & King Boo set together. We do puzzles so this was different & fun. At fist I didn’t understand the packaging, maybe label it 1 of 2. But it all worked out as we put them together, which was pretty easy. The instructions are very clear & explain exact and display it exactly. As for the interaction, they aren’t unless you buy the other characters to make it interactive. Would like to see how it works so maybe we will build this whole Mario collection

This is an incredible set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My entire family loved this Lego set. We love the Lego brand and Mario empire. This set did not let us down. The build was great. I let my 9 year old lead the construction. She would not take a break till she completed it. She felt so confident after. The details are spot on. It was such a fun set. Loved that it came with two builds that can be played by multiple people.

The set comes with clear directions and high quality materials. The numbered bag system and detailed instruction books helps with building but the sets are still challenging.

Fun and cute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are a Mario and Lego fan you will love these . Took less time than it did to finish the Mario movie we had playing in background. There is a QR code to scan would only work with my apple phone not my husband’s android ? Had to download an app which is basically the paper booklet now assessable on phone . This set included a couple extra pieces incase some go missing . Was easy to understand and put together for the most part . Says part of buildable game ? Interactive pieces sold separately not sure what that is all about ? This was just two figurines but still really like them .

Great Lego set for Mario kart lovers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for my honest review. I was really excited to be picked for this as me and my husband are huge Mario kart fans. We play almost daily for the last 6 or 7 years so I was really looking forward to this. I really like that it is an interactive LEGO set and the shells can be launched at another player. Each character came with two shells. I did want to point out that Im an avid LEGO builder lol and have never had a piece be missing. This set unfortunately was missing a few pieces to complete the characters cars. From my pictures you can see the teddy bear car is missing what you would say cheek elongated piece and for Warios car the tail light was missing the attachment to then insert the see-through piece. I still had a lot of fun putting this together and seeing the final product and my husband also pitched in and assisted with part of the car setup together. I would highly recommend this to family and friends, as I saw how much joy it brought me and my husband while building them together.

Legos are for the whole family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this product, I made it a big surprise for my 9 year old son who absolutely LOVES legos of any kind and he was smiling from ear to ear super happy to receive this. He worked on putting it together with his sissy who is 13 and his dad. He had the best time doing this Lego package. The features are absolutely astonishing and they even do different type things. There are 6 sets that come with this and it's at least over 500 pieces. It's absolutely been a project for fun family time for sure. Thanks so much influenster! Such an awesome set. Love the Wario and King Boo character builds. The karts are pretty cool too, represents the actual vehicle well. Although not the cheapest of sets, it’s well worth it for any Mario fan.

Fun build!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun build and we got started right away! The directions were very clear, which made the build super easy and fun. I also enjoyed all the stickers because it really brang the characters and the cars to life! And I think it's a great choice for beginners and pretty affordable! The pieces fit together easily and I didn't get lost or confused at any point. And these two will be on permanent display with all of our mario decor! Overall, I would highly recommend this Lego set!
