I’ve been a LEGO Technic fan for years, but lately most of the mid-scale cars haven’t grabbed my attention—until this one. The Ferrari FXX K stood out immediately with its sleek, aggressive styling and accurate proportions. Honestly, it’s the first LEGO car in this price range that looked “cool enough” to make me pull the trigger in the past few years. What impressed me most was the level of detail for this scale. Compared to other Technic cars around this size, the bodywork feels far more complete, with fewer exposed gaps in the panels. The designers really nailed the curves and angles, especially in the front and side profiles. I don’t own any of the larger UCS-style Technic cars—they’re out of my budget—but this set gave me a taste of that premium feel without the premium price. The build process was engaging without being overly complicated, and it left me with a display piece I’m genuinely proud of. I currently have mine mounted on my wall, and it looks fantastic as a piece of art as much as a model. My instruction manual was obviously miss-collated. Pages 155 to 170 were repeated. Pages 171 to 186 were missing. I've never seen this happen before. I viewed the digital manual on-line and continued the build. Otherwise - usual Lego quality and good looking when finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Lego kit in exchange for my honest review. All Lego kits are expensive and I'm not sure any of them are really worth the price. I probably wouldn't buy it unless it was on sale. The car when it was finished was "extremely cool!" According to my 8-year-old. The instructions were easy to follow and all of the pieces were in labeled bags which made it easy to complete each step. The kit stated 10 years old and up, so I had to help my 8-year-old who did not have the patience. However, we had fun building it together. The car did look Nice when it was finished and seemed pretty durable (It didn't completely fall apart when you touch it) compared to other Lego kits we've tried.

The detail is impeccable and it’s fun to have! Weather for display or for playing this model is great for any Ferrari fan
