No Mo Stink
I have been using a large stainless steel milk pail (from Lehman's years ago) as a "slops bucket". It would begin to give off a foul odor in a few days. It also took up a lot of room. I ordered the composter out much hope for it except it had a lid and took up a lot less room. To my delight, it really works! I only have to empty it when it gets full and with the lid in place. . . no odor! Also. . . no flies.

Couldn't be Happier
The compost pail is wonderful. It resists odors, is the right size the comfortable fit on the kitchen counter, and it hold a gallon of vegetable waste. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
