Plus, it provides dependable light and some warmth on cold nights. All you need is kerosene or lamp oil and a match.Brighter and more efficient with advanced pre-heated air flow and extra-tall, heat-resisting chimney. Adjustable 2" flame is bright enough to light a small room and lasts all night. Simple lever lifts the chimney out of the way for easy lighting. Large cooking pot and a secure, anti-tip base. Q: Do you need to purchase fuel separately or is any included? Also the description says kerosene or lamp oil and the specs say "gel fuel," do all work? and which is prefered?

A: Fuel is not included with the lantern. You’ll need to purchase kerosene or lamp oil separately—just add fuel and a match, and you’re ready to light, cook, and warm up your space. The lantern is specifically designed for liquid fuels like kerosene or lamp oil. Gel fuel is not compatible with the wick-based design of this lantern.

Wonderful, Well Made

My wife laughed at me
My wife ask me what in the world did I think I would use this for my comment was power outages and such, The laugh was on her the power went out and the first thing we used it for was to warm her coffee LOL works great puts out a good amount of light and heats coffee up pretty quickly.

I received this for a Christmas present, my step mom knows how much I enjoy prepping and camping. I noticed the wick adjustment was binding. I notified the office and they sent a knew adjustment immediately! Works like a champ now! Thanks! Just waiting for the grid to collapse so I can utilize it!

Good Lantern
A large lantern that puts out quite a bit of light. It has a very wide base that makes it very stable. I have not used the cooker feature, but it does put out a substantial amount of heat above the lantern.

Lantern Cooker
I was very happy with my purchase. I liked the quality as well as the design. I bought 2 and gave 1 to my mother in law. She loves it too. She’s in her early 80’s and very happy on how easy to use. This is a great product to have especially in an emergency. Ie: no power etc.
