Easily Open Your Canning Jars Stubborn lids? No worries! Our wooden jar opener helps pop the seal of canning jar lids, so removal is easy. It also helps prevent you from damaging the lid. Use on both regular- and wide-mouth mason jars. Made by an Amish craftsman. Smoothly-sanded oak is finished with food-grade mineral oil to protect the wood. Overall Length: 10-1/4"L. Width: Opener head 1-1/8"W, handle 5/8"W. Groove for Lid: 7/8"W. USA made. Note: Handmade of wood, so grain pattern and color will slightly differ. Care Instructions: Wipe clean. To prevent the wood from drying out, condition with food-grade mineral oil.

Wonderful item!
I always used a spoon to open my jars (I was ignorant to other ways to open them) I started doing some searching and found this item because I didn't want to damage my lids anymore this is easy to use (obviously) and the lids look perfect once off!!!
