Difficult to control settings, not enough variation and mostly too strong too fast. Some build up would be nice. Not everyone goes zero to 60

Gorgeous toy...but not as effective
I really wanted to love this, such a stunning design and the description sounded like a dream. It just didn't do it for me. The first time I used it without the moisturizer provided and it cut me a little. The 2nd time I used it with the moisturizer but it took so long to get me there. I tried every setting and upped the intensity (which didn't seem to be any more powerful), but no avail :( Back on my hunt for the holy grail.

"Cruise control" is intense
I loved my original Sona Cerise and thought I would step it up with an upgrade, but it turns out I don't like the cruise control function. The device will suddenly jump from the lowest setting to a higher intensity when I don't feel that I have pressed it very hard, and it's too intense for me. I wish there were a way to turn this off so that I can keep it at the lowest level when I want to. I prefer the simpler design of the original Sona, where I had full control over the intensity.

I do not understand this device
I want to start this review by saying I love Lelo products, I have several products by Lelo and I will continue to buy their products. This device in particular seems like it decreases intensity when pressed into the skin. If there’s any kind of pressure the vibrations slow and stop, making it incredibly difficult to get from point A to B if you catch my drift. I bought this as a replacement to my original Sona that I have had for 6 years, and prefer the first generation Sona over the Sona Cruise.
