Petal and Pup Womens Lennon Halterneck Maxi Dress

This dress was exactly what I had hoped for. I have a wedding in September to attend, and this is just the vibe I was looking for. I am glad I read through the comments before purchasing. There is no stretch whatsoever in the waist and you MUST crisscross the straps in front of your chest before tying them behind your neck. The design has plenty of room if you are bustier up top, but is also very flattering if you have smaller girls. The most important fit for this dress is the waist, which is probably right around 28". I am 5'4" and 125lbs and a M fit me perfectly. I can't wait to wear it!

Loved this dress, but the clasp at the back is too small. Ordered my usual size based on reviews saying the top was too big, but ended up not being able to get the clasp around my rib cage closed. Such a bummer because the dress would be so flattering if it would clasp properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read all the reviews, focusing on reviews from people who were similar in height, and chest size. I ordered a Medium based that. I’m 5’4, chest 34Bish. It fits wonderful, the length is perfect and with a little heal in a shoe it’s better. After crisscrossing the straps, the top fits great, no alterations needed. I will agree with most reviews regardless of your height/size, the waist is tight. For me, it’s tight, but not too tight that I’m uncomfortable. I can’t wait to wear it at a very important outdoor summer event.

Total disappointment. The dress is super big in the boob área and súper tight in the back.

This dress was so big in the top part and sooo tight in the ribcage area. I’m not sure what size it actually would fit?? It is being returned unfortunately.

Ordered this dress for a wedding in sizes small and medium. The small was VERY small around my waist and I could not get it to zip all the way to the top. The medium was much better fitting - still a little snug around the waist but able to comfortably zip! There is a lot of fabric around the bust BUT the dress should cross in front of your neck before haltering and tying in the back. I didnt do this at first and the top was HUGE. Once you tie in the front it makes such a difference in the sizing. I will probably wear this without the flower on the front but it attaches and detaches very easily with a safety pin. Can't wait to wear this one!

The dresses were all as pictured, great quality fabric. Needed to adjust some sizing.

I had high hopes for this dress, but it was not as expected. The flower in front was droopy and did not look right and the halter sat weird on my body.

I love this dress so much. It’s beautiful and is good quality. Just order a size up! I’m usually a medium and I ordered a large, and it fits perfectly.

I truly do not know why this dress has so many negative reviews. This dress is clearly not for someone with a bigger chest. It would fit something with a smaller cheat better. This dress is lovely. I’m usually an extra small so I got the small because of the reviews and I should have went with the extra small. One thing I will add is that the colors are a lot more vibrant than the pictures show ( they seem muted to me). Excited to wear this to a wedding this month!

I ordered up a size in this dress thinking it would be just a tad bit big but it actually didn’t even zip all the way. The top was super baggy and didn’t fit over my chest. My boobs were hanging out on the sides.

It was a super cute dress, good quality, but it didn’t fit. If you have a larger chest or problems with that thick band they put on the waist, I would size up.

Super pretty. I ordered a XS. I'm 5' tall and weigh 103. The top was way to big and the waist band was very tight and not stretchable. Wish it would've fit more true to size.

Like others, I thought this dress looked so pretty, but it was not flattering at all! It was tight through the bodice to zip and yet there was a surplus of fabric hanging from the sides if my busts! I don’t know if this dress would look good on any body! It is poorly designed!

I loved this dress, but it fits probably 2 sizes too small and does not zip. The size chart said the xs would fit but it’s not even close. Disappointed as all sizes are sold out and I needed this for a wedding

I am a size 6-8 with a 36B/C bust and I could not zip up the medium. And the fabric at the bust was cut weird, lots of droopy fabric. Fabric was pretty though.
