  • A: To maintain your filter, we recommend cleaning the pre-filter (outer layer of the filter) using a soft brush or vacuum hose every 2-4 weeks. However, please do not use water or liquid to clean the filter as trapped water particles may result in mold growth or mildew smells. Either way, it is encouraged to change the filters after about 6-8 months of use or at your discretion.

    Always have a spare filter on hand

    Our Levoit Core 300 is exactly what we needed for our laundry room and litter box. Takes the dust out of the air as advertised and the adjustable timer allows us to tailor the period in accordance with need. The filter doesn’t need changing as frequently as one would think, but nice to have a spare when required.

    Levoit Core

    I really can tell the difference in the air quality, especially in the rooms that Biscuit (pet dog) loved to occupy. Changing the filter was very simple. Once i changed the filter, it took a couple of resets for the sensor light to activate. I purchased 4 of these, so i am very satisfied with this product.

    so-so

    i live in a small apartment with someone who smoke in the unit under me. there is a central air for heat so my apartment is blasted with toxic air. I bought these filters to minimize the impact and they did not help at all. even when the central air is off and it is just smoke from downstairs through walls....these still did not seem to have an impact. they are however great dust magnets and do an excpetional job sucking in the dust.

    levoit hepa filter

    I purchased the small levoit hepa filter which will exchange air in a medium room in 20 mins or so. It leaves air fresh & clean, removing an odor in minutes if fan is on high. Having the fan on low is almost completely silent, and will keep room fresh, if run 24/7.
