I am very pleased with this monitor. The colours are brilliant, and the overall quality of the product is excellent. I use it with a MacBook Pro. Although I cannot use the maximum refresh rate of 180 Hz, the 144 Hz setting works very well. Before this, I had an Alienware monitor with the same specifications, but the LG performs far better. I am glad I returned the Alienware and bought this instead.

Got this today as a replacement for 32GP850-B, as the backlight was playing up on the right side.. (Will fix it).. Basically the same monitor, but upgraded a bit.. These are first class monitors for a reasonable price.. Easy to setup and use.. Just a little tweaking in settings..
Excellen, but requires additinal calibration

The monitor delivers excellent screen quality and connectivity. However, the factory-calibrated color profile could use improvement—colors are overly saturated and appear somewhat unrealistic, making it more suitable for gaming than for tasks requiring color accuracy. Fortunately, after some research and using the Eizo calibration tool, I was able to fine-tune the settings, and now the display looks fantastic. It would be great if LG provided official calibration tutorials or guides for users, especially if they don’t plan to improve the default profiles in future updates.
Good value for money but a user manual is needed

I selected this LG monitor because LG is a known quality brand (we have an LG TV) and it hits a "sweet spot" on price, speed and image clarity. It has functionality for both Nvidia and AMD graphic cards which supports longevity of use should I change card. The screen itself is matt and minimal by design. The stand is strong and simply clips onto the monitor without any need for a screwdriver. So far its all working well and "does what it should". I would give it 5 stars if it were not for 1 omission: No software setup instructions or screen control explanation. I had to search through the LG website for software driver downloads though I've no idea if I needed them - the monitor seems to work OK. I also found out that there's a button under the monitor which allows all sorts of image control - and a text guide can be downloaded from the LG website, but a little more info on "what", "why" as well as "how" would be very useful and frankly, expected. As it is I don't want to fiddle with it in case I mess things up. I shouldn't feel like that. Come on LG give us a little more information please (Come to think of it, its the same with our LG TV - loads of functionality that I'm still discovering after 6 months that I never knew existed and again I don't want to fiddle around because I could mess something up and then get grief from the family).

Value for money 💯. Good quality product as promised by LG. One thing to be noted that this monitor doesn’t come with inbuilt speakers so you will have to use wired headphones or wired speakers. And also I couldn’t able to use overclock refresh rate feature so far, due to that the refresh rate doesn’t go above 60 HZ in the OSD menu. Still game play experience is good with PS5.

It says 180hz but I can overclock to 200. What does it mean exactly? Can I use this monitor on 200hz mode constantly? Can it harm it or break guarantee?

Have been using this monitor for a week, have to say it's bang for the buck for gaming/work/entertainment !!" Pros : 1. Colors : Because it is a Nano-IPS it has 1.07 Billion colors (normal IPS display has 16.7 million only). 2. Display : IPS glow/bleed is barely present if you are at the correct eye angle to the monitor. Blacks are also very good. 3. Refresh rate : By default the RR is 180Hz which can be easily overclocked to 200Hz from the monitor joystick underneath. 4. Ports : 2 x USB 2.0 (Type-A;downstream) and 1 x USB 3.0 (Type-B; upstream) and 2 x HDMI 2.0 and 1 x DisplayPort 1.4 and 1 x 3.5 mm Audio Out. 5. Cables : 1 HDMI 2.0 cable, 1 Display cable 1.4 and 1 USB type A to type B cable included in the box with cable length around 1.8 meter each. 6. Panel : It's a 10 bit(8 bit + FRC) IPS panel with matte anti-glare coating with max brightness around 400 candela per square meter. You can run the monitor in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios. 7. Monitor stand : Very nice, stable stand with Tilt(5 degree forward and 15 degree backward tilt)/Height(Adjust upwards around 11 cm )/Pivot(Only clockwise) . Stand also comes with a cable management clip. 8. Gaming : For PC gaming use the Display port to get the max refresh rate and 1ms response rate. It comes with VESA certified AdaptiveSync / NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible / AMD FreeSync and DisplayHDR 400 / DCI-P3 98% (Typ.). Cons : 1. I got it initially for 23.1 K after card discount but the piece i received had a DEAD PIXEL at top center and i could not unsee it once i noticed it. I have returned it and ordered a new one which was fine. I am still waiting for the return pickup though. The second monitor i ordered was for about 27.1 K. Now this is very rare and you would not probably get it. I think i got the same piece which is reviewed by "Raghav Mavi" in the amazon ratings. So this is basically the only con i noticed that i had to pay extra 4k to get a clean monitor. 2. if i am nitpicking, i would say that the forward tilt angle is a little less and the lowest position is the monitor is a bit high.
This is a great monitor!

LG UltraGear 31.5" QHD 180Hz Gaming Monitor – Tota

Alright, so I’ve been using the LG UltraGear 31.5" QHD 180Hz for a while now, and honestly, it’s an amazing upgrade. If you’re looking for a gaming monitor that’s fast, smooth, and looks great, this one is definitely worth checking out. Super Smooth & Crazy Fast First off, the 180Hz refresh rate is insanely smooth. If you’ve been using a 60Hz or even a 144Hz monitor, you’ll notice the difference immediately. Everything just feels buttery smooth, whether you’re gaming or even just scrolling through stuff. The 1ms response time means no annoying motion blur or ghosting in fast-paced games—perfect for shooters or racing games. Crisp & Vibrant Display The QHD (1440p) resolution on this 31.5-inch screen looks super sharp without being overkill like 4K. The IPS panel makes the colors really pop, and the HDR 400 helps with deeper blacks and brighter highlights. It’s not OLED-level, but for the price, it’s pretty awesome. No Screen Tearing, Just Smooth Gameplay This monitor has AMD FreeSync Premium and works with NVIDIA G-SYNC, so no screen tearing or weird stutters. If you’ve ever had those annoying visual glitches in games, this completely fixes that. Looks & Build – Sleek & Adjustable The design is really nice—thin bezels, a sturdy adjustable stand, and even some subtle RGB lighting on the back. It’s got a premium feel without looking overly “gamer-y.” Final Thoughts – Worth It? Absolutely! If you want a monitor that’s fast, smooth, and has great visuals, this one is a solid buy. It’s perfect for gaming, looks amazing, and doesn’t cost as much as some crazy high-end models. Definitely recommend it!
